Thanks to Lt. Michael Byrd, Ashli Babbitt was unavailable for comment.

When Trump gets into office, he’s going to have to purge the entire FBI, CIA, and DOJ leadership.

If the purge is confined to a few “leaders” at the top, it won’t achieve anything.
The entire staff is chosen and promoted by the current leaders. Decapitating the organization but leaving the rest of the rats undisturbed isn’t going to achieve anything.
These corrupted institutions need to be ended, and completely replaced with completely new people.

Maybe they can dig her up and put her on trial, like Oliver Cromwell or Pope Formosus.

When the corruption of the system extends to its mechanisms of checks and balances, and to Justice itself, then an outside entity is needed to remedy the problem.
In our case, that means the military.

Brennan today declared Trump "unqualified to be president as he was in 2016, and as he is so today"
So now our representative republic seems to be represented not by the voters, but by a hundred or so political bureaucrats.
We know who 51 are. Realize the constant damage done by these people to our country in order to preserve their power and wealth.

I wouldn't be surprised if they knock him off, just to keep him from doing that. This is evil we're talking about, and I'm a realist.

That’s a very bad idea! Military leaders are no less susceptible to corruption than are the others. There, still, are qualified, principled people out there somewhere.

No statute of limitations for murder. Byrd and his conspirators need to face arrest like any city cop would in the same boat. Deadly force was absolutely illegal for that circumstance.
The capitol building is not some red line nuclear weapon bunker deadly force zone. And with that, imagine a city hall and someone unarmed crawling through a window into the mayors office. A local cop shoots the person.
The FBI would land on them with both feet.

Your final sentence is spot on, even prescient.
And these men you speak of didn’t start their mission last week, or even last decade.

Nah, this guy is a poor excuse for the thin blue line. He is grossly incompetent and should never have been given the authority he holds.
I think the government was covering its ass by looking for a neighbor or associate, who would say that Ashli was a present danger to democracy.
It remains to be seen whether this dude will be charged with murder or manslaughter. But, it was by no means a justifiable homicide!
