Governor Katie Hobbs (D-AZ) said Tuesday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” that she’s confident voters will enshrine abortion rights in November.
When asked about the Supreme Court’s decision banning abortion, Hobbs said, “Arizonans across the state are reeling from this decision that reinstates the most draconian ban in the country. This is a ban that as you said, was passed in 1864 before we were state, before women had the right to vote and it is a near total ban with no exceptions for rape or incest. It requires prison time for doctors. There’s just right now a lot of confusion about what is the current state who has access to what and it is, this is very harmful decision for Arizonans.”

Anything having to do with genitalia is a sacrament to Democrats.
It is a holy sacrament, and it is pursued with the kind of unflinching devotion that would make medieval monks blush with envy.
Abort Hobbs
Republicans need to get on this. Call on thr state legislature to get the law in line with Arizonians. Provide NO solutions, just Demagogue thr issue. I call on the Govenor and thebstate legislature to get this resolved asap!
All they have is abortion and it is not an issue high on the list of voter concerns.
The mentioned 1864 law went off the books with Roe in 1973, No one complained about it. The whole time.
I live in Arizona. The petition takers are getting $25, and hide what the petitions are about. One approached my wife and adopted teen son at the supermarket lot. After she said this is about women’s freedom, my wife contested it and got push back, ultimately telling the petition taker that our son was at risk of being killed, but here he is, no thanks to this woman’s efforts. The woman hypocritically gave my son a fist bump (she was middle-aged, trying to be cool).
If Arizona and other states go all-in on unrestricted abortion, we as a people will deserve what we get.
She could be right. It’s my impression that among Arizona Conservatives more are of the Libertarian type than the social Conservative type. They like small government, in every way. Those Libertarians tend to go along with Liberals on abortion.
Arizona will resolve it with a referendum on the ballot, conveniently in November.
It's all working as planned.
When Graham stands up for a nationwide ban, he’s called aa RINO or worse.
She’s the Governor, propose some legislation to her legislature and pass it. Or do they prefer to restrict abortion in order to have a November election issue?
Yep, pay protestors to protest at the state house demanding action by the Dem Governor.
America is beyond saving without any drastic cultural change.
If you sit back sure they control thr narrative. There should be daily pressure applied. Also, this type of pressure ensures that all the additional turnout isn’t necessarily an anti Trump vote. His first move was smart and Kari Lakes initial response was great too. Now cause some political trouble for state politicians. Demand a special session be called to align with the people. Also, explain that this is exactly why this needs to remain a state issue so we don’t have to wait 20 for an answer from DC. Finally, tie their inability to act on the abortion law is similar to their inability to act on the border. Never offer a solution, demagogue this to death. Daily, constantly. The Govenor needs to call a special session, immediately! Offence push, don’t wait for the rats to guide you around!
09/11/2001 woke up the country for about 3 years
I shudder to think about what could possibly be coming next
And Democrat Joe Biden’s open borders....
😨😱😦😨😱😦😨😱🤯😳😱
If you let them define the rules they will win. Call for a special session. Beat that drum every day.
Exactly, this is the way. Stop letting the Rats define and frame thr debate and the timing.
This. It's only about winning, no matter how much they talk about "women's health."
Well she’s right
