The Duchess of Sussex has long faced speculation that she could be entering the political sphere, with the couple hiring Obama’s PR guru to work on their team and speaking out about the US election back in 2020. During the last cycle four years ago, feminist activist Gloria Steinem previously told Access Hollywood that Meghan had joined her in calling Americans and asking them to vote. In the interview, Steinem said, ‘She came home to vote. The first thing we did, and why she came to see me, was we sat at the dining room table where I am right now and we cold-called voters.’

She NEVER gave up her American citizenship, nor ever took steps to become a citizen of the Uk.
You may not like her, most Americans can't stand her, but sadly, yes, she IS an American.
OTOH....Harry is a Brit/a citizen of the UK, here on a visa( which he lied on, so can legally be deported ! ) and has less than NO chance of legally becoming and American citizen, which he does NOT want to do.

THE CROWN is a STUPID t.v. series, which I have never watched. From what I have gleaned, from those who have seen it, it is about 98.999999999999999999999999999999% fiction.
I don't "slobber" over anyone; least of all the UK Royal family. Yes, I do know all about them, from prior to William the conqueror to present day, because I enjoy knowing FACTUAL history of all kinds, about ALL civilizations and eras.
