More telltale signs of Biden creating a more balanced economy, but hey, you don’t have to put up with any mean tweets from the Orange Bad Man in the White House...
Most were and are mask nazis.
Geek squad blows anyway. Weirdos.
Always had good experiences with GS. Techs could be a little quirky but knew their stuff.
No place to service laptops since Hunter’s exposure.
I wasn’t too hot on this bunch after learning that DOJ was giving them REWARDS for finding kiddie porn on computers they worked on. While that plan sounds reasonable, no doubt that some Greeks were at least tempted to download the porn themselves, and then report the customer and collect the reward.
Our local Geek Squad is great.
Really the only reason to use Best Buy anymore.
Maybe those folks should start their own small businesses.
BIDENOMICS WILL BE A COLLEGE CLASS FOR THE NEXT 80 YEARS
Geek Squad still exists? I haven’t heard about them for ages.
I just bought a open box HP - Victus 15.6” Gaming Laptop for about 50% off Geek Squad approved ,LOL I’ll see what it’s like when it arrives but I needed a laptop and cheap was a seller , LOL
I guess all those emails thanking me for renewing my membership for $349.99 weren’t enough...
The last time I asked Best Buy to look at a pC of mine, the Geek Squad staff told me the wait time would be days or weeks before they’d could get to me, they just did not have anyone else who could help me. They did tell me about a local outfit they knew could look at it.
So no more scammer calls from India touting Geek Squad?
I’ve always had good experiences at BB. Buying items on sale, or getting them to price match Amazon has worked ok for me. I bought a 48” OLED TV for $899 a year ago from BB, priced even lower than Amazon at the time. I never used the Geek Squad, can’t comment on them.
Geek Squad in the stores is like pulling teeth to get anything, however the guys that come to your home for large items are great. I bought a large screen TV and got the 3 year warranty and it went bad. They came and looked at it and ordered a power board. They had it shipped to me and when they opened the box, they found that the geniuses shipped them a used board that did not work. The technician got on the phone and got me a new TV instead since they screwed around. They brought the new TV to house and installed it and took the broken one with them. Unfortunately since large screens are so much cheaper now, I don’t buy a warranty.
Like with car dealerships, you don’t make money fixing things. You make money selling things.
Who can afford college :)
