Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) clinched the first spot on the ballot for her Colorado GOP primary after securing the highest percentage of delegate support on Friday at the district assembly.
Boebert, who is running for the full two-year term in former Republican Rep. Ken Buck’s eastern Colorado district, received 41 percent support from the 527 delegates gathered at the assembly, according to the Colorado Sun. That allows her name to be placed first on the GOP ballot in June.

IBTFRBH - In Before The FR Boebert Haters.
I’m sure there will be lots of those
Sad times , they would rather lose
I’m rooting for her.
Not only is she one of the most conservative members of congress but she also attacks the Democrats on a consistent basis.
We don’t need wallflowers. We need fighters. I hope she wins.
Ahhh..."Boebert" and "clinches" in the same sentence. Brings back memories...
She’s a fun gal.
Somewhat oddly WAY better than most of the rest of the GOP House members.
It wasn’t supposed to be this way when I was in “government” lessons in elementary school in the late 50s, but there has apparently been some “evolution” since.
Wonderful news!!
Congratulations Lauren!!! I bet she’s perused FR from time to time.
Ballot position is huge.
In Pennsyltukcy it is literally luck of the draw.
And Icky Nikki was the lucky *ucky.
couldn’t have said it better myself!!! Thanks.
Show's how little you know about Colorado CD4.
It is so heavily Republican that there would be no opportunity for a Demonrat to win.
Boebert needs to take care of her wreck of a family - not trot off to Washington as a CD4 carpet bagger while leaving CD3 as an automatic Demonrat pickup.
I hate the way skinny jeans look on women
Who are they?
I judge politicians by how they do their jobs, not what they do on their own time.
I might prefer someone with wisdom, self control, and a sense of what's correct in public, but I'm not from there and I don't vote in that state or district.
Maybe, unlikely, however maybe, she's learned a few lessons.
That woman is the moral equivalent of a trailer park twister! Never been good for us. Dislike her almost as much as the establishment! 🙄
I’m willing to overlook such things when we have a 2A champ on our hands.
I drove a considerable number of miles out of my way to have a meal at her restaurant, “Shooters.” This was before she was a congresswoman. I liked her 2nd amendment stance.
After we finished our meal I asked her if we could take a photo of me and her with her girls. She was busy but most graciously obliged. She is a nice lady. I will contribute to her election, though she is not my representative here in Texas.
“Shooters” was a family type restaurant. The food was good and at a fair price. I saw a couple of open carry patrons but suspect there were many more concealed carry as myself. I felt perfectly safe in “Shooters.”
My traveling companion was and old friend from Britain of many years. He could not comprehend it all.
I’d obviously vote for her in a general over other candidates, but God I wish she’d pull herself together, gain some wisdom & stop acting like a trashy idiot. Same with MTG🙄🫣
