Ukraine will cease to exist before that happens.

That would suit you right down to the ground, wouldn't it.

Like the demented husband who murders his wife because she wants a divorce.

Completely idiotic and reckless. Aside from the fact that Ukraine is massively corrupt and not a democracy, this also gives Russia absolutely no incentive other than to hold out for their maximal demands......ie annexing the entire Donbas and Black Sea Coast including Odessa. They’ll leave Ukraine as a broken impoverished, landlocked rump of of country hundreds of miles to the West of its current officially recognized borders.

And for what? What is the point of us insisting on taking Ukraine in knowing it is a red flag for Russia and guaranteed to provoke exactly the conflict going on there today?

If our leadership screws around and gets us into a real hot war with Russia you can probably assume that the people with Ukraine flags on their houses, cars, and other supporters with a visible track-able presence might find themselves unwelcome (at best) in many places.

If anyone cares to know, the United States is not mentioned in the Bible with all the other nations participating during the last days, at least not openly. Just a few years ago people where scratching their heads wondering why not? It should be obvious now.

I’m all for Ukraine joining NATO, have at it. My issue is, why are we in NATO? Outside of draining us financially and sucking us into a war, what benefit does it provide?

“New members must uphold democracy, including tolerating diversity.”
“New members must be making progress toward a market economy.”
“Their military forces must be under firm civilian control.”
“They must be good neighbors and respect sovereignty outside their borders.”
“They must be working toward compatibility with NATO forces.”

Starts and ends with at least implied gay stuff. Not shocking at all.

All in the name of a bisexual Ukranian, and an old shyster politician and pervert. All for the sake elitist money launderers and the military industrial complex profit margin. This is OT bilblical in breadth and scope! There is nothing new under the sun. The techology is different and weaponry while updated, acheive the same results. It amazing how those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.

Is the goal of the “great reset” to obliterate the planet? Morons...

When Ukraine became a sovereign nation, Russia, the UK, and the USA all agreed to provide military defense in exchange for Ukraine relinquishing its nuclear weapons for destruction. Ukraine, the UK, and the USA have all kept their part of that bargain. Only Russia has turned on everyone involved.

Yeah, right. Supporting Ukrainian independence is the declaration of war, not the Russian invasion. Do I have that right?

If Russia’s concern is really NATO membership, then let it offer to withdraw from Ukraine in return for a treaty of Ukrainian neutrality. But that is never going to happen because this war is about Russian expansion, not that of NATO.

“ Like the demented husband who murders his wife because she wants a divorce.”

You forgot Ukraine voted in a pro-Russian President. Then the US orchestrated a coup and viola! Then they started slaughtering the ethnic Russians.

The Russians want to and voted to become part of Russia. The Ukrainians don’t vote anymore.

This was all offered to Ukraine before the SMO. Ukraine NATO, the US, gave Russia the middle finger, violated past treaties, and continued the ethnic cleansing. Russia conducted the SMO to prove they were serious. Ukraine signed a peace deal, Russia withdrew from the outskirts of Kiev, then Bozo F Face flew in from the UK and viola! Signed treaty never happened. Now about 750,000 dead Ukrainians later…. Boris Johnson will drink his ass to death with this on his soul.

Pure BS! Russia never offered to withdraw from Ukraine nor was there a signed peace treaty. As for violating past treaties, it was Russia with its invasion of Crimea and Donbas in 2014 and with its violation of the Minks Accords by not withdrawing its forces, not handing over the border to Ukraine, and by blocking the referenda planned by Ukraine. Stop pretending that this is about Russia protecting itself from western aggression. It is about Putin’s desire to restore the borders of imperial Russia, and that is all it has ever been about.
