Correct. Putin is a Kremlin Bolshevik who employs a classical genocide in the tradition of Hitler and Stalin. What can’t be stolen is destroyed. Those who can’t be subdued are mass murdered on an industrial scale. Shame on any armchair observer who cheer on such Kremlin filth and demean the sacrifices of Russia neighbors who, again, must defend against these invading barbarians.

You don’t seem to understand that many Ukrainians would rather live in a “broken impoverished country” or die on their feet than live as slaves, again, in the filth of the Russian World. They’ve lived their history. You haven’t, obviously. Think about that. FRegards.

Russian chauvinists like Putin consider Ukraine to be part of Russia and Ukrainians to just be “bad” Russians. Literally. Americans Conservatives must pay no attention to those who gaslight in the service of mass murdering Moscow Kremlin scum. Reagan taught us better.

Correct, and that is all this war has ever been about. Putin has been public about this for years. It amazes me how there are so many conservatives that refuse to recognize this and continue to justify Russia’s actions. They talk about a surrogate war, but the only ones who are making it a surrogate war are those who think that by supporting Putin they are striking a blow against their boogyman Soros and company. A Russian win in Ukraine will do nothing to advance the conservative cause in the west.

So, never.

You forgot Ukraine voted in a pro-Russian President.

They voted in a liar who said he'd steer Ukraine into the EU. When he revealed his true colors, 800,000 Ukrainians (in Kyiv alone) revolted and drove him from office. No CIA needed. The Parliament voted him out, entirely legally.

Did you know that there actually WAS an attempt at a forcible coup in 2014? By a gang of 200 or so led by one O. Bahtiyarov, who fortunately got caught by the Ukrainian security service before they could overthrow the interim President and disrupt the election that followed Yanukovich's departure. Bahtiyarov was sponsored by an organization calling itself the Eurasian Youth Union of Russia. Almost simultaneous with Putin's illegal seizure of Crimea. Funny, that.

They may want to be in NATO, but expanding NATO right up to Russia’s frontiers - especially after they spent years and years warning not to do so is not in our interest.

The US already promised them it would not expand NATO eastward. I don’t think they’re gonna buy any more promises from the US/NATO.

And Russia promised to respect Ukraine’s borders, a promise they broke in 2014 with the first invasion, all without the pretext of NATO expansion. NATO expanded eastward not because of western aggression but because the eastern nations were fearful of their former Russian overlords, and with just cause. Enough with this nonsense that Russia is the aggrieved victim here.

And Ukraine promised to respect its minorities which is a promise they broke first....after an illegal color revolution orchestrated by the US Deep State.
