On Tuesday March 26th, the Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors declared a local State of Emergency in regard to the adverse impacts of the Klamath Dam removal project affecting the Klamath River.

All this, impacts on the health, safety and welfare of people, death of billions of life-forms, destruction and potentially $-billions in costs for what?
This disaster is being ignored and covered up by the California main stream media just as the California Chinese biolab was not reported.
it is pretty well know that the only thing Democrats do well is fu$k up a wet dream.
We gotta get that on a tee shirt.
Someone needs to be SUED
bttt
What a communist putz.
I think it is stupid to be removing the power-generating and flood control dams. Destroying our country’s infrastructure.
The other day a friend near Horse Creek said the river is still running black, not brown. Other kills include deer stuck in the muck trying to get water. Probably include elk, coons and otter and mink. I ‘spect the Indians may be questioning their support. Coho will be gone for decades.

I wonder who or what CDFW will try to assess fines for this disaster?
Themselves?
Wait, I know, Trump.

Makes absolutely no sense.
Such a tragedy. One of my most favorite places in California is that rivermouth. One any day you could see eels, salmon, whales, sharks, seals...mountain critters, Yurok’s netting.
Now...now...maybe in a few years it’ll all be better?
The tribes were behind this big time.
Good, now they have learned the unintended consequences this "green" action has on them. Careful what you wish for.
They are judged on their intentions, not outcomes
You ain’t seen nothing yet- wait till destroy the Hetch Hetchy system
You a funny guy.😁
The people pushing for these dam removals are certifiably the ignerantist people on the planet. Never mind power production. Never mind fish. We had some wet years in the 1950’s and the need for these dams for flood control, if nothing else, got to be heckuva obvious. There has been way more development in this drainage since the 50’s and the first wet winter is going to break some hearts.
Fish? Coming back? Not gonna happen now or ever. That was part of the calculation when these dams were built. The Indians had already outgrown them as a food source and they ate ‘em all.
We are going to starve in the cold and dark.
I’m afraid people here still don’t get it.
If the Left creates chaos and failure by what they do, it creates additional opportunities for them to rule and gain power.
Look at the electricity system in California. The more it fails, the greater their stranglehold becomes.
