What both conveniently ignore is that it was the pomp and circumstance promoting it to eclipse the holiest day on the Christian calendar. That is what is offensive. Especially when the proclamation is signed by a supposed "devout Catholic"?

i see she caught that Easter spirit - NOT! just more of the same kvetchin’ and moanin’. every day commemorates something or other - they don’t bring them all to our attention. just this one - and it was quite a long and effusive post. Easter, not so much. yeah, i noticed, KJP.
It was bad enough that he signed the Transgender propaganda message on the 29th and then said bad things about Americans who disagree with him. The “Easter” message he did release could easily have been written by a polite Muslim. It had no Christian sentiment whatever.
