Adidas has banned German football fans from customising Jerseys with the number 44 amid claims it bares a striking resemblance to the logo for the Nazi SS units.
The sports brand confirmed they have 'blocked the personalisation of the jerseys' but claimed the resemblance to the Nazi symbol was unintentional.
SS units were the most responsible for crimes against humanity committed by the Nazis during World War Two.

I hear what you are saying but we’re talking about Germany, where the heil Hitler salute will get you thrown in jail, it’s logical then that no company wants to be seen as allowing their products to be associated with the Nazi SS symbol.

The members of Kiss and their manager weren't too alert but they learned their lesson and in addition to the stage lights, they changed the logo on the album and posters.

Some folks go to great lengths to stretch your imagination into being offended.
Proper “SS” lighting bolts always had to lean to the right. Never upright or stupid looking like the shirt.
