Elon Musk is Reportedly Selling Twitter User Data to a Gov’t Surveillance Contractor

'Watching everything that happens on X in real time is key to Dataminr’s pitch to the government...'

While Elon Musk has talked a big game when it comes to privacy and free speech, he’s continued to sell Twitter/X user data to a controversial surveillance company that provides services to the U.S. military and intelligence agencies, according to a new report in The Intercept.

Citing emails obtained via the Freedom of Information Act, The Intercept reported Monday that Twitter is continuing to sell user data to Dataminr, which provides its customers with customized real-time “alerts” on desired topics, “giving clients like police departments a form of social media omniscience.”

“The alerts allow police to, for instance, automatically track a protest as it moves from its planning stages into the streets, without requiring police officials to do any time-intensive searches,” The Intercept reported.

“Watching everything that happens on X in real time is key to Dataminr’s pitch to the government. The company essentially leases indirect access to this massive spray of information, with Dataminr acting as an intermediary between X’s servers and a multitude of police, intelligence, and military agencies.”

Has anyone tweeted this to Musk, for confirmation?

I don’t know, but I knew this all along and have been sharing it. They ALL are... His first priority is money. And if he has to play “good cop/bad cop” to get it he will. They ALL will.

You can’t fall for everything that comes along. Do research, follow up. Don’t post unsubstantiated rumors as if the are validated. If you have been sharing this all over without checking facts people will think you are a gossip and soon ignore everything you say.

I know after Musk it was totally different. Open to free speech, even not PC type, unlike under the elite scum Dorsey and his minions.

We’ll see. Right now, I trust Musk much more than ANY government low IQ, low-T, no morality dork.

Sorry, but they’ve done a superb job of proving that they deserve no respect. Following Revolution II, we’re gonna need a hell of a lot of guillotines.

First time I have posted this.

As a web developer I have PERSONALLY been claiming this for some time now. Because I know how it works. Besides the fact Musk publicly gave the DoD and intelligence agencies buttons to twitter over a year ago. This is just icing on the cake.

Here is the original source with documentation.

Elon can’t really say no. The Deep State wants it. So they’ll get it. End of debate.

I haven’t yet watched this from 2020, but it seems relevant. Shadowgate, how the deep state uses government contractors. https://www.bitchute.com/video/3zHwsvkuHEuC/

And “theintercept.com” is a fact filled information center?

Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. What I do know is the internet is flooded with propaganda. With Musk being somewhat on the conservative side, he automatically makes leftist enemies that will do or say anything to destroy him or make him less credible.

Using the little known “theintercept” as a basis for fact checking, IMO, does not validate anything.
