There is a great little book “Modern Warfare -A French View of Counterinsurgency” by Roger Trinquier that might provide insight into what is happening. The only thing that keeps counter-insurgency from winning is the lack of spine to finish the task.
Nobody likes to see the “sausage made” and until the Palestinians go to sleep and pray that the Israelis aren’t going to burn, flatten and kill every living thing in Gaza....then salt the earth...this should continue. Otherwise the Hamas cancer will metastasize into another malignant disease and kill innocent Jews.
Every single supporter, journalist/entertainer mouthpiece, banker, merchant, terrorist, trainer, professor, baker, cook and candle stick maker should tremble in fear that they, their children and family are on the “target designation” list. Until the terror absolutely prevents the Hamas/Hamas supporters from even considering an attack, the job isn’t done...... The only way to bake that cake is to break a lot eggs.
Hamas screwed around with the wrong Jews. They thought that they were dealing with the American “turn the other cheek” Jews...but are stuck dealing with the warrior Jews that will offer the Cartaginian solution to the Gaza “problem”.....and the world will be a better place.
