This might’ve been scrubbed already, but there was an interview with Jonathan Pollard (yes, THAT one) who said he was told by various people within the Israeli military, that the helicopter pilots were receiving phone calls from civilians during the attack, but their commanders forbid them from taking off for hours.
And in case you forget, Jonathan Pollard was a spy for Israel and got a hero’s welcom there when we expelled him afert a long stay in prison.
He’s not a crypto Nazi.
