Johnson must have been taking notes from Pelousi.

“Johnson, a Louisiana Republican, waived a self-imposed 72-hour rule that gives lawmakers time to read legislation before a vote in order to get it across the finish line and send it to the Senate, giving the upper chamber just hours before the clock strikes midnight.”

Effing lowlife.

It’s bad enough that any money is going for this nonsense. But the United States is a debtor nation. So it’s borrowed money that’s being paid out here.

Sometimes I wonder. Is there much difference between a GOP-controlled House of Representatives and a Democrat-controlled one?

His predecessor was routed out of the Speakership because he had no backbone, despite promises he would stand on his promised values and issues - which included Democrat spending on garbage agenda items and massive debt expansion.

Likewise, Mike Johnson was brought in on promises he would stand up for the same set of values... then played stupid games and lied repeatedly to everyone... then refused to stand against this FAR worse bill than what his predecessor allowed through...

Time after time, Republicans gain office on promises of fiscal responsibility and generally reigning in the insanity of government over-reach and spending (They even fool enough democrats at times to gain that majority). They then spew their hypocritical morality, then totally lose their spine - and spending doesn’t go down. Conservative principals get further tossed in the waste heap, and government spending still skyrockets...

And they wonder why they cannot keep a majority in the House and Senate... duh.

Add in that they have just rolled over on the wholesale corruption of the electoral system - they are complicit in their own political demise.

The #uniparty strikes again.

Tax & SPEND

“For imposing taxes on us without our consent.” - Declaration of Independence

Some taxes are necessary to operate government. Much of the spending is antithetical to good government. Without our consent.

How nice. I had to cancel some insurance because I can’t afford to pay for it. Looking now for something I can afford.

But my tax dollars will go to make sure sodomitical garden parties can go on.

I detest most Republicans. They are in league with Democrats.

Time to start a new party.
