Democrat Resolution ‘Declares Vision for Future Liberated from All Abortion Restrictions’

More than two dozen Democrat lawmakers recently reintroduced a bicameral resolution hailing the “courage, compassion, and dedication” of abortionists.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Sen. Mazie K. Hirono (D-HI), and Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI) led 24 of their colleagues in reintroducing The Abortion Provider Appreciation Day Resolution on March 12. Part of the resolution calls for limitless abortions, confirming Democrats’ position that abortions should be available throughout pregnancy for any reason.

The resolution calls on Congress to declare “a vision for a future liberated from all abortion restrictions and bans” and affirm “the commitment of Congress to working toward that goal in partnership with providers, patients, advocates, and their communities.”

An unstated item is when is birth? Is it when the baby emerges or when the doctor certifies it is a birth. Under the latter, the doctor and ‘mother’ could look over the delivered product and decide whether or not the product was healthy enough to be certified as a birth. I believe VA was close to adopting this position.

By a 220-210 margin, the House of Representatives passed the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, with only one Democrat voting in favor. So, with only one exception these Democrat legislators establish a line for defense of abortion within their party that includes those born alive despite attempted abortion. According to the logic for voting against this bill, an infant breathing air on its own outside the womb is not a fully human person. The medical personnel in attendance are not only absolved from any criticism in failing to provide care, but instead must intervene to kill the baby.

Now read the bill and to see if that not is a reasonable interpretation. So maybe this why we just can’t all just get along.
