Stefanie Lambert, an election integrity attorney who has pressed for transparency in regards to Dominion Voting Systems, was suddenly arrested in Washington D.C. on Monday night.
Lambert was reportedly arrested by U.S. Marshals for disclosing allegedly confidential emails from Dominion Voting Systems in a Michigan court case.
The Associated Press reported on Lambert’s arrest:
An attorney facing criminal charges for illegally accessing Michigan voting machines after the 2020 election was arrested Monday after a hearing in a separate case in federal court in Washington, D.C.
Stefanie Lambert was arrested by U.S. Marshals after a hearing over possible sanctions against her for disseminating confidential emails from Dominion Voting Systems, the target of conspiracy theories over former President Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss. Lambert obtained the Dominion emails by representing Patrick Byrne, a prominent funder of election conspiracy theorists who is being sued by Dominion for defamation.
In a statement, the Marshals office said Lambert was arrested on “local charges.” A Michigan judge earlier this month issued a bench warrant for Lambert after she missed a hearing in her case, in which she’s charged with four felonies for accessing voting machines in a search for evidence of a conspiracy theory against Trump. Lambert had earlier, unsuccessfully, sued to overturn Trump’s loss in Michigan.
Earlier Monday, Lambert had acknowledged passing on the records from Dominion Voting Systems to “law enforcement.” She then attached an affidavit that included some of the leaked emails and was signed by Dar Leaf, a county sheriff in northern Michigan who has investigated false claims of widespread election fraud from the 2020 election, to a filing in her own case in Michigan. The rest of the documents were posted to an account under Leaf’s name on X, the social platform formally known as Twitter.

Those election machine are supposed to be secure, so how did she access them? Gee no password and other security measures? Or at least that is what the voters were told about the machines……. 🧐
Any public officials who approved the use of “voting” machines that just add unnecessary complexity to the process, and agreed to terms of use that essentially make them an obscure “black box” are either drooling idiots, or they’re in on the scheme to commit fraud in elections. Both the additional complexity and the vendor-demanded secrecy make these systems ripe for fraud, and I think that is the real reason they exist.
Dominion Voting Systems is doing their damnedest to keep the cat in the bag that would reveal what they did.
So they arrested somebody who reported a crime to the authorities. Not the people who perpetrated the crime.

Machines were apparently lent out by government clerks long after the election and examined. Security seals were broken and one machine was broken open.

There are means of labeling ballots (by the hour of printout and by machine serial number for poll location print out ballots)(by 7/8-digit mail-out zip code truncation labeling for mail-in ballots) to make fraud more difficult and to permit many fraudulent ballots to be extracted from the final count.

Voting by mail is the greatest weak point.
Diverted machines are probably the second greatest weak point.
“There is NO excuse for any aspect of the design or operation of a “voting” machine to be protected as proprietary information. The only reason for secrecy is to make fraud difficult to detect. I’m sure Dominion would protest with something like, “We have to keep certain information secret to prevent hacking”, or some such excuse, but then they’ve insisted that the machines are not online (a lie), so there should be no vulnerability from outside.”
Dominion used generated QR codes which can provide a modest amount of security benefit.
