American drivers pay 45 percent more to fuel their daily commutes since President Joe Biden ascended to the White House, AAA data shows.
The national average gas price on Monday was $3.46 per gallon, according to AAA, up about 20 cents from last month.
When Biden assumed office, the national average was $2.38 per gallon, more than a dollar less than the current price. That is about a 45 percent increase since former President Donald Trump left office.

Airline tickets are WAY high. Double
and rising again around here +4 bucks a gallon in a lot of places.
They’ve jumped around 50 cents the past two weeks. All because PDJT is running. Or something......

$4.55 in Santa Barbara today.
3.15 in florida ... california is over regulated ...
I think Biden’s plan is to run it up to $6 right before the election, then run it down to $4. Then he can get some various Sesame Street puppet to brag about how he cut the price of fuel by $2/gal. “Bidenomics” in action.
I have been trying to figure out why gas prices have been climbing lately. You would think they would hold steady or drop as we approach an election.
Either the Dems know the fix is in as far as the election and as a result, they don’t care, and are pedal to the metal or they know they are going to lose and are going for broke to do as much damage as possible before they are tossed out.
$4.26 in Reno. $3.69 30 miles south in Carson city.
In 1970, with a $10 bill I could buy 50 gallons of gasoline.
If I misplaced that $10 back then, and refound it this week I could buy 3 or less gallons of gas.
Doing the kind of work you do today, how much of your time would have been required in 1970 to earn $10? How much of your time today is required to earn $10?
bttt
Yep, $3.35 here in NW GA. We had $2 gas under Trump, .2% inflation, 3.5% mortgage rates.
