After President Joe Biden's electoral romp on Super Tuesday and his subsequent State of the Union address, his campaign quickly eased into its general election posture, with the commander in chief visiting key battleground states, including Georgia and Michigan.
But it was an ad entitled "For You" released earlier this month that took on one of the 81-year-old Biden's biggest challenges ahead of the election: addressing voter concerns over his age.
As he spoke in front of a camera, Biden had a distinctly sunny disposition. He quickly gets to the heart of the matter.

We knew Ronald Reagan, Ronald Reagan was a friend of ours, and you, Joe Biden, are not Ronald Reagan.
Reagan was sharp and witty in 1984. Biden wasn’t sharp even in 1984.
Great response!
This is classic but won’t work for VegPres because Trump is as old as Biden.

Biden can barely walk, Reagan was vigorous
Reagan was 73 years old at 1984.
Biden will be about 82!
That’s a big difference.
It’s the dementia...not the age.
Biden can’t hold a candle to Ronald Reagan!
Where is that ‘Sure Jan’ meme…*looking
Except...it is obvious to all that Joe is no Ronald Reagan.

I was stationed in Germany from 77-81. I lived in a small Mosel River town, Traben-Trarbach, I loved the place and my neighbors.
Several months before the election, my neighbors were pleading with me to vote for Carter, they had bought the lie that Reagan would start WWIII. 2-3 times a week, there would be debates over this, they were unable to move me an inch.
Simply put, I told them over and over that the world is a safer place when America is strong. That is a statement that has remained true for over 100 years. He was more than an actor, he had served as the Governor of California.
I put to use the outstanding education I received when California had great schools, and followed that with 4 years at Gonzaga. After living in Germany for 4 years, I spoke near-fluent German once I left work for the day. Our conversations were spoken entirely in German.
The debate ended on Inauguration Day, when the Iranian hostages landed at Ramstein AB, about 60 miles from where I lived. On my next visit to the gasthaus, I was invited to sit at the Stammtisch, a table reserved for family and close friends of the family. It's an honor I cherish to this day.
Exactly. Sure, Reagan was an old man, but Biden is on entirely different level of elderly... it’s practically like he could be Reagan’s *father*. I’m reminded of that Seinfeld episode where Lloyd Bridges plays Izzy Mandelbaum, a cocky but decrepit old fart... whose *father* Izzy Sr is later introduced for comic effect.
CORRECT.
My hub will be 83 in July, he’s sharp, and still doing household repairs and yard work. Other than aches and pain of age, he is NOT SENILE! DOESN’T NEED CUE CARDS. Does take a nap after he does work.
Age is a major factor in senility diagnosis.
But only a factor!
In some rare occasion Alzheimer affect people in fifties or even sooner.
Some hundred year old’s have mind like youngsters.
However, I observed, that most people over 80 are starting to loose some abilities.
They (some of them) can surely function pretty well, but in general, I do not think anybody over 80 should be a president!
Catholic church has a rule that cardinals over 80 are not eligible for vote! It seems to be a good rule to me.
