The Code of Hammurabi
5. If a judge try a case, reach a decision, and present his judgment in writing; if later error shall appear in his decision, and it be through his own fault, then he shall pay twelve times the fine set by him in the case, and he shall be publicly removed from the judge’s bench, and never again shall he sit there to render judgement.
Judge Barbara Dawkins. Justice in Chicago?
Glad the construction workers are OK. Too bad about the perps.
“”An off-duty sheriff’s deputy working security””
It’s probably an assumption that the scene was an outside construction site? Do construction sites in Chicago now need security?
Finally, some good news.
It’s good that a security guard was able to intervene, but my first thought was, “Construction sites now have to have armed guards?” Just another indicator of our descent into a low-trust society.
To live in, or even near, a city is ABSOLUTELY IDIOCY at this point. if I was stuck with a business in a city, I’d sell it as soon as possible, while it still may have some value (there’s usually a bigger fool).
But, obviously, I would have bailed from just about any city at least 5 years ago, and bailed from the really bad ones at least 10 years ago.
As long as the US permits Leftists to have political power, anyone not FULLY INFORMED is asking for a really bad time, be it here, or when their kids go to school, or when they go to buy a car, or a kitchen stove, as they NEVER STOP.
Of course.
“ Cops arrested Williams and Alexander as they tried to leave the area in an Uber…”

LOL - Obviously these geniuses FAILED ‘ROBBERY 101’ or at least the chapter on ‘getaway drivers’.
They'd already shown once that they could well return, so shooting them as they left is justified.
So they all missed?
That’s what I call good “gun control”
Hunter?
