Four candidates will vie for the top office, namely New People party nominee Vladislav Davankov; self-nominated candidate and incumbent President Vladimir Putin; Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) nominee Leonid Slutsky; and Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) nominee Nikolay Kharitonov.

There’ll be no stolen presidential election in Russia, the opposition seems similar to our Uniparty (D) and Uniparty (R), not a dimes worth of difference between Putin and the oppo. You are absolutely right. I posted a thread earlier today about Schumer pretty much calling for the sacking of Netanyahu. Everyone was up in arms about meddling in Israel. The fact is, Benny Gantz, Netanyahu’s likely replacement was making the DC rounds last month, including seeing Schumer, assuring everyone that his position is exactly the same as Netanyahu’s. It’ll be like swapping Boehner for Ryan, not a dime’s worth of difference.

Since nothing can be believed from any western media, and if Russian media makes you uncomfortable, the best way to get some impression of what life is in Russia is from Youtube.
Find channels in existence pre 2022. They exist. Even with them, maybe you’ll feel better turning the sound off. Just watch the video. Look in the background of the imagery. Nobody is staging obscure stuff for a vlogger in 2021. You can get a look at life in Russia.
I can tell you what you’ll see. You’ll see paved roads. You’ll see full grocery shelves. You’ll see . . . flowers?

This was filmed a few days ago. Here is what I see.
Snow got shoveled off to the side. The sidewalks don’t look destroyed, and that’s pretty common where there is water that can freeze between stones.
I don’t see any particular scarcity of “military aged men”, so no they didn’t all leave Russia and no, they are not all mobilized.
Pretty nice coats. Look plenty warm.

The only moral to this story is . . . we are being lied to. They are not stressed. They are not unhappy. There is no drone damage visible. We’re being lied to. Stop presuming anything, and really ANYTHING, you have heard is true.
