Millions of Americans' Work Hours Would Change Under New Plan
Newsweek via msn ^ | Mar. 13, 2024 | Andrew Stanton

Senator Bernie Sanders is introducing legislation that would change working hours for millions of Americans.

Sanders, an independent senator representing Vermont, announced he plans to file a bill that would establish the 32-hour workweek as standard across the United States, while mandating that workers do not lose pay. In a press release on Wednesday, Sanders argued fewer working hours would be necessary to ensure recent technological advances, such as automation and artificial intelligence "benefit the working class, not just corporate CEOs and wealthy stockholders on Wall Street."

Inflation would explode. And America would become even less competitive. When workers lose their jobs to outsourcing, will they be allowed to storm Bernie’s house, just like in the movies?

[(Bernie Sanders) hasn’t done an honest day’s work his entire miserable life]

That’s absolutely correct

Too late.

Obamacare made it 32 hours to qualify for health insurance.

"32-hour workweek as standard across the United States, while mandating that workers do not lose pay."

Really? AI and a robotic frenzy is on its way. When it fully hits many will be grateful for a 40 hour work week job.

People will feel like they have been hit by a train.

“ Big companies will roll with the punches, small businesses with have to close.”

All part of the plan. Small business, home farms, etc, all under attack.

They won’t stop until we’re all under their total control.

Right, so even part timers will get full benefits and health insurance, no problem. Tech improvements have cut our 80 hour week down to 70, fantastic!

Winning elections with other peoples money since 1848.

You know what is amazing?

Communists are usually weak failures of men, people that live off others and never were productive in their lives. Often they are literally moochers that live from handouts or relatives, and that was true for Marx in the past, it’s true overseas in Europe, and it’s true today here with Sanders.

It’s election year again: https://www.forbes.com/sites/adamminsky/2024/03/11/biden-proceeds-with-hardship-student-loan-forgiveness-plan-—6-key-details/?sh=4549bc686441

People are already not doing anything useful at work. And that scam called remote work from home. Federal workers love it! The only real workers these days are those doing grunt work in energy/oil/gas and farming. By farming, I include all the hardworking illegal aliens. God bless them! >>>>>>
All others are clowns and glorified paper shufflers.

Just the other day, a useless slacker stoner worker ruined my anchovy n onions pizza that did not come cheap due to the wicked anchovy inflation. When I opened the box I smelled marijuana. Not anchovies.

Fantastic...

American entrepreneurs will leap at the opportunity to pay 40 hours of wages for 32 hours of work.

America - we get smarter and more productive EVERY year!

Get these urban bums out farming and hoeing cabbages. Same as Mao-Tse-Tung did during his Cultural Revolution. He had the bs intellectuals out there in the fields doing real work aka grunt work.

We need to do this with 90% of our college administrators and professors. Who tilt heavy to gay, lesbian, trans, femimazi, leftist, communist and so on.

32-hour workweek as standard across the United States, while mandating that workers do not lose pay.

So 20% less work for the same pay. But why stop with a four-day work week? Why not a three or two-day work week? I mean, what could go wrong?

I’m getting so sick of stupid.

You don’t work hard enough for them.
