“It has been an honor to serve the people of Colorado’s 4th District in Congress for the past 9 years,” Buck said in a written statement. “I want to thank them for their support and encouragement throughout the years. Today, I am announcing that I will depart Congress at the end of next week. I look forward to staying involved in our political process, as well as spending more time in Colorado and with my family.”

Guy is a COMPLETE TOOL!
another NY born rino bites the dust
Blackmail or payoff?
To leave that early and not the end of his term, I wonder what the commies found out about him that they are using against him
NO ONE leaves this early unless they are dying or the left has the goods on them
Colorado is dying along with the rest.
No personal knowledge, but one wonders what honey pot or other type of blackmail scheme he might have fell afoul of? Or perhaps he has some other undisclosed personal tragedy in his life.
The Colorado Governor is a Dem, so what does this leave our majority in the house down to? 3?
Another RINO running away because under a President Trump he might actually have to do his job.
It’s 2018 all over again.
On one hand, good riddance. On the other they hope the Dems take the House to stop him. An impeachment a day.
Just watch, with a ONE SEAT HOUSE majority the Dems will hold together and shove their agenda on us with the help of some squishy RINOs.
We get a 5 seat majority and the Repubs are feckless.
I hope Trump brings in a wave of solid representatives.
10 days is pretty short notice——
The governor can only appoint U.S. Senators. I guess there will be a special election to replace Buck, or there will simply be a wait period until November.
sounds like he’s ill...will take wait and see stand
Only one week or less notice???
Yes, he’s going to miss out on some fine fact finding junkets over the summer.
So a special election is required. Awfully short term. Is Buck doing this to influence the November election for his seat? Of is there a skeleton about to step out of his closet?
Miss me yet?-George Santos
Unless he got some real bad news (ex: he’s dying) this is a pretty pathetic move for any politician. You spent donations to run for a political position and then just toss in the towel because you don’t want to do it anymore instead of waiting till the end of the term.
This is one of 3 Republicans that voted AGAINST impeaching Mayorkas...
Good Fricken Riddance.
