Trump is not going to hand Ukraine to Russia. It would be a disaster equal to what Biden did in Afghanistan.
I’m sure Trump thinks he is going to tell both sides to end it. He’s not going to cut off Ukraine because that would give Putin a free hand and he’d have no leverage over Russia.
But for the moment, I’m more concerned about Trump throwing the election if he goes too far down that appeasement path. I don’t think he will.
So why have most fled to not fight? Why don’t you go fight. I’ll pass on WW3 for the war mongers. Russia and Ukraine aren’t are business. Accept for Biden’s family corruption and pharmaceutical companies breaking the Nuremberg treaty by doing live human experimentation. Odd, how much is big pharma paying select people for this war? Would love to see someone cover that.
No the war would devolve into a guerilla war and continue for years. There is no reabsorbing and Russifying the Ukrainian people at this point. I like Trump but this logic is bad. No other country in eastern Europe can stand on its own two feet against Russia either, certainly not Orban’s Hungary. Putin wants all parts of the former Soviet Union and all parts of the former Russian Empire which virtually guarantees there will be war across eastern Europe right up to the erstwhile Berlin Wall.
Between emigration and a low birth rate, Ukraine has been depopulating at an alarming rate for the last 30+ years even without considering any war casualties.
That’s what they’ve been doing from the get-go. And they fought brilliantly with what little they had at the time. Trump was the first one to give them lethal aid. Orban’s a Putin stooge.
