Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that it is “craven” some Republicans who stopped the bipartisan border bill are pointing to the murder of Laken Riley “to score cheap political points.”
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “A horrible tragedy in your state, I don’t have to tell you, Laken Riley, a 22-year-old Augusta University nursing student, was bludgeoned to death last month while on a run on the UGA campus. The suspect is an undocumented immigrant from Venezuela, who was released after crossing the border illegally, had a criminal record in New York, was still a free person.”

Warnock added, “If only she had been killed with an automatic, high capacity assault magazine, we could have used it to score cheap political points!”
In a way, that is true. Her death is a grim reminder to Americans that their own children could be murdered by people who have no right to be in our country. A reminder that the democrats have opened our border to people from the emptyed prisons from south of the border. All for their own political gain.
Cheap? No; it cost a girl her life.

Warlock senses danger. The murder is a perfect storm of Democrat open borders and soft on crime policies. Not to mention that the corrupt fat fanny’s J6 election fraud circus is making GA Dems a joke. Warlock unleashed a torrent of dirty politics on Walker in 2022. He is no one to complain.
