On Friday, the Republican National Committee held a meeting in Houston, Texas to decide who would replace outgoing Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. The 168 delegates voted to entrust the leadership of the party to Trump-endorsed Michael Whatley and Trump's daughter-in-law Lara Trump as RNC co-chair. Both Whatley and Lara Trump were elected unanimously to their positions.
McDaniel, who tearfully said goodbye to the RNC delegates during the spring meeting, explained last month that she would be stepping down following the South Carolina primary in order to allow the presumptive GOP nominee to select a RNC delegation for the upcoming November election. Trump explained his reasoning for his endorsed candidates in a statement in February: "The RNC MUST be a good partner in the Presidential election. It must do the work we expect from the National Party and do it flawlessly. That means helping to ensure fair and transparent elections across the country, getting out the vote everywhere – even in parts of the country where it won't be easy – and working with my campaign, as the Republican presumptive nominee for President, to win this election and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
To fulfill this vision, Trump endorsed Whatley who was seen as a party leader that was strong on election integrity during the 2020 election. "We are already well on our way to making Joe Biden a one-term President, and I look forward to working alongside each and every Republican across the country to deliver Republican victories up and down the ballot," Whatley, who is the current North Carolina GOP chairman, said in a statement. "Lara and I are steadfast in our commitment to get out the vote, protect the ballot, and elect Donald J. Trump and Republicans from coast to coast this November."

exactly as reported a month ago ...
I don’t necessarily want Pro-Trump. I want proAmerica, individual liberty and economic freedom.
AND this SHOULD set the stage for joint Trump/RNC fund-raising, with money going to trump-approved candidates in primaries, as well as conservatives in the general needing a financial boost, with safe-seat RINOs getting nada ...
This will not end well .
Fish lips wants to make tie RNC funds the Trump slush fund .
Embezzling Funds for Trump legal fees is illegal but

Uh, sure. “Pro America” is code for Barbara Bush’s pick. Put your faith in Trump and you will get less foreign aid, less foreign wars, less illegal immigration, lower taxes and less regulation. Put you faith in “pro America” its anybody’s guess.
Curious. Why Lara? Not that I’m apposed.
Thanks
