President Biden will announce during his State of the Union address on Thursday that he’s directing the U.S. military to lead the construction of a port along the coast of Gaza on the Mediterranean Sea to boost the amount of aid getting to Palestinian civilians.
“We know the aid flowing into Gaza is nowhere near enough and nowhere near fast enough. The president will make clear again this evening that we all need to do more and the United States is doing more,” a senior administration official said on a call with reporters.
The port would be able to receive large ships that can bring in food, water, medicine and other supplies into Gaza, which has been under fire for months as Israeli forces carry out shellings and military operations in response to Hamas’ terrorist attacks last October.
Biden will direct the U.S. military to undertake the mission alongside allies and humanitarian partners, a senior administration official said. The project will take “a number of weeks to plan and execute,” and will involve forces already in the region or that will be there soon.

Not to worry. By the time he port is built, all of Gaza will be Israeli territory.
Israel should say they will destroy ANY port, built by ANY country, that is found to facilitate arms shipments into GAZA.
What we need RIGHT NOW is an emergency military ARMED presence in the large cities of the United States to stop the killing, raping, looting and assaults OUT OF CONTROL THERE.
You mean this is not a “shovel ready” infrastructure project?
Where is the environmental impact statement?
Lol.
The president will make clear again this evening that we all need to do more and the United States is doing more…

But we don’t need to do more. Why would we “invest” with Hamas. The money will just get funneled to Iran.
We need to support the demise of Hamas.
The problem is that he and many of his predecessors created the anti-democratic tools necessary to suffocate democracy in the US and but always thought men like themselves would temper that authority with respect for American traditions.
As the Federalist Papers argue, that is impossible: if you weaken the forms of government (and its limitations) to allow excess power to be wielded, then you inevitably get tyranny.
Bush and others created the tools necessary for the Gramscian Communists to impose a one-party state, which is what is now happening. Bush I was mistaken. These people are evil.
What nation? The gaza strip borders the Mediterranean sea

There’s already a port.
We seem to be setting things up for the last days.
Is anyone concerned that Israel is burning through their ammo and ordinance stockpile at a dizzying pace?
It’s a slap in the face of Israelis who are loyal to their country and not its Deep State.
How F-ing stupid are these people? So no Democrat is capable of remembering (or reading about) Hamas actions in the past, or the near total support of the Palestinian civilians for those Hamas actions.
What a bunch of idiots.
Just looking for islamo-barbarian votes.
Biden can’t do that! Can he?
Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability ……….. to F**k things up. B Obama
Government has been infiltrated and hijacked at all levels. It’s become pretty damn obvious.

Mogadishu part two?
...and my grand nephew decides now that he wants to become a Marine. Don’t know what MOS he is interested in. Hope Trump wins in Nov.
“The port would be able to receive large ships that can bring in food, water, medicine and other supplies into Gaza”
And heavy weapons and more fighters and sophisticated military equipment.
An empty futile gesture.
First, you got to get Congressional approval.
Second, you’ll need to get a contract.
Third, you’ll need to plan it.
Fourth, you need to build it.
Should be ready in 10 or 20 years.
This is exactly the way to promote terrorism.
