There is actually a really cost effective way to eliminate drones. It is called “signal jamming”. The issue is, if you jam the enemies signals, you are also jamming your own. However, a smart military would jam signals and then rely on more conventional means to address missile attacks which would include autonomous drones.
A second method would be to put out a CIWS on half-tracks that travel with the tanks.
I’ve read articles that some of the newer drones being used in Ukraine fly low enough so that signal jamming is rendered ineffective.
What is the cost of a CIWS on halftracks that would follow tanks, much less a spread-out formation of tanks.
Personally, I don’t think there is a single solution right now, a layered solution using signal jamming, CIWS systems and ultimately, I think a directed energy weapon like the Iron Beam Laser system that is being used in Israel.

Not sure how signal jamming would not be effective. The signal jammers would be on the tanks themselves, so if the drone can see the tank, then it would also be in its range for having its signal jammed. The problem with signal jammers is they lose effectiveness the farther away ... so a fast moving drone could still theoretically hit something as long as the target does not move and it was aligned properly to begin with. However signal jamming usually causes weird jumps as signals are lost and regained and servos try to correct.
