Embattled Fulton County District Attorney Fani Wills paid prosecutor boyfriend Nathan Wade almost double the salary of his colleagues and met Kamala Harris before she indicted Donald Trump, a defense lawyer claimed in explosive testimony on Wednesday.
Ashley Merchant, who first came forward with stunning allegations of the affair Willis had with a special prosecutor Wade, testified to a Georgia state Senate hearing as a judge considered whether to disqualify Willis from the Trump case.
The attorney for Trump co-defendant Michael Roman said Wade got more than $650,000 in billing from Willis and left little information in his invoices.

It was all cash.
They should subpoena his billing records for other Wade clients to see if he was billing his other clients at the same time he was billing full-time on the Trump case? I thought someone reported that he billed Fani's office for 24 hours - in ONE DAY!
Asleigh Merchant did a great job today of detailing the antics of the Wade and Willis crime duo.
Since Merchant was able to describe the events without being interrupted by the opposing lawyers, as was the case in the court proceeding, I recommend folks watch this Senate hearing to get an overall picture of the Wade/Wallis corruption.
Another who highlights affirmative actions catastrophic fallout.
I hope that the state hearing this puts a little more pressure on or provides State level cover for the Judge to remove Fanny and Wade from Fulton Co D. A. office and this case.
“Civil rights attorney to challenge Scott McAfee, judge in Fulton Trump case”
The empire strikes back!
That’s a shame. We will see how it plays out in May.
The senator who questioned Merchant at the end of today’s hearing showcase the rabid, unreasoning black partisanship that exists in Atlanta and many other American communities. Logic and facts be damned the black side has to win.
The Georgia AG is not caught with her hands in the “Cookie Jar.” Willis is caught standing over the broken cookie jar, scooping all the cookies to give to her honey who has been banging her with uncontrolled desire? She should be disbarred as well as Wade.
Fitting, would be fines and prison time.
If our justice system’s credibility is not important enough to punish this horny couple, we are headed for a broken country.
“If our justice system’s credibility is not important enough to punish this horny couple, we are headed for a broken country.”
And speaking of horny corrupt couples and our justice system’s credibility....
whatever happened resembling justice back in 2019 to Peter Strzok and Lisa Page? There’s your answer re: “”where we’re headed””. I think we’re already “there”. Hope I’m wrong, though.
Yet Fulton County elections are pure as the driven snow, doncha know?
12,000 text messages? How did they ever find time to actually work?
> It sure was. Especially when the Black Dem tried to give her a hard time, he didn’t do a good job, Fani is gonna slap him around.

And then we had the additional dimension of finding out much more info about the level of collusion going on between the White House and Fani/Wade. Not that this should surprise any of us, but it became much clearer today that the White House was likely coordinating every one of these legal attacks against Trump, and taking advantage of easily-corrupted DAs to do it.
I have not been able to follow this closely.
Why weren’t the phones subpoenaed to view the text message contents?
If they deleted the messages then it could be obstruction.
