A secret meeting between Elon Musk and Donald Trump has sent speculation swirling that the Tesla boss could bankroll the Republican presidential hopeful's campaign.
The two met on Sunday in Palm Beach, Florida, along with a few wealthy Republican donors, according to the New York Times.
Trump and his team are desperately seeking a cash injection to boost his presidential campaign.
Musk is currently the second richest man in the world, with an estimated fortune of $200billion. The Tesla founder has become more political in recent weeks and has been posting on social media platform X blasting Democrat Joe Biden's woke policies and the administration's handling of the border crisis.
Trump has privately praised the tech mogul to his allies and hopes to secure a one-on-one meeting soon, according to a source.

It would be wise money to get behind Trump, Elon.
Interesting. A deal with the devil? Probably not.
Still it’s a club and we ain’t in it.
The rats have Soros.
I miss George...
Another thing-public education is free in this country. You would think an appreciative public would take advantage and run with it to their fullest extent. It’s not happening as the schools are lousy.
Same as NATO. Does Europe do it’s part?
So what am I getting at?
We shouldn’t be lazy and ask Elon to do the work we should be doing.
He helps Trump get elected, Trump outsources NASA to Space-X and hires X to develop a secure blockchain cheatproof online voting system.
DO IT!
But spend the money counteracting voter fraud. Nothing else. Then it will all sort out.
actually, having Elon counteracting voter fraud rather than financial support would be a good idea...there is a limit to direct donations to trump but Elon is not limited in what he could do to head off voter fraud.
You don’t even have to go block chain. Vis, Master Card, Discover, and Amex process millions of transactions a day and almost never make a mistake
If he could use his money to poach a couple of blue state senate seats that would be groovy.
I’m thinking Md.(Hogan), Nv.(somebody), Michigan. Calif. too.
Let’s not forget the doables in Ohio, WV. and Montana.
>> I miss George...
More time at the range will help solve that problem. :-)
If this alliance actually comes to fruition look out. It’s going to be a wild year....
Sounds like a good deal.
I had look up his American citizen status. Yes, he became one, so donation is OK. r
Secret??
Also, since both President Trump and Elon Musk are visionaries, perhaps there will be a Trump Tower on Mars. Stack a few Starships on top of each other on the Mars surface as accommodations, and the first customers will be billionaires, a great way to fund the infrastructure for long-term habitation. With the huuuuge size of Starship, there could be orbiting Starship Space Stations.
We now know that we can fly helicopters on Mars. There is also an experiment that proved we can make oxygen out of the Mars atmosphere.
The new Mars Trump Tower will be swept for hearing devices every day. Any ‘journalist’ / democRAT found spying will get a free, one way ticket to the asteroid belt.
Can you actually cite some examples where Trump is a visionary?
Space force
I don’t look at that as much of a visionary thing
FUN FACT: G. Soros is small potatoes compared to Jeff Bezos' ex-wife.
ANOTHER FUN FACT: G. Soros was actually a failed investor until he brought into someone else to run his company.
It will go into escroll while under appeal. I think that's how it's working.
Trump doesn’t have 10 million supporters on his contact list that could chip in an average of $50? Of course he does...actually more than that that could do $100. That would be $500 million for the former and $1 billion for the latter. For some reason they just don’t do it.
Same problem for Republican candidates across the board the last few election cycles. The base sits on their behinds and keeps their wallets closed - whether they be MAGA or establishment candidates. They simply don’t act to support them. The Dems have no such problem with their base - they pony up - and crush the GOP candidates who cannot defend themselves against the onslaught.
