Progressives bashed the Supreme Court’s unanimous ruling that states could not disqualify former President Donald Trump from appearing on the 2024 presidential ballot, with some even suggesting that the court be “dissolved.”
In a historic ruling, the Supreme Court said only Congress can disqualify a federal candidate from the ballot using the Fourteenth Amendment’s “Insurrection Clause.” The ruling — which comes right before Super Tuesday — overturned a 4-3 opinion from the Colorado Supreme Court in December that banned Trump from appearing on the ballot.
Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold (D-CO) said in a post on X she was “disappointed”: I am disappointed in the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision stripping states of the authority to enforce Section 3 of the 14th Amendment for federal candidates. Colorado should be able to bar oath-breaking insurrections [sic] from our ballot.

The mask is ripped off and they are naked communists...............
Those crybabies need to suck it up. I think the voters and not the courts should have every right to decide whether or not Donald Trump can be on the ballot
These people are so deficient that I do not want to associate with them anymore. They are not my countrymen. They hate me and I hate them more. Bring on the national divorce. And if fighting is needed to solve this, lets get it started.
“Whack job deluxe with cheese.”
No kidding! It’s a wonder these people don’t leave the house with both legs in one pants leg.
“Colorado should be able to bar oath-breaking insurrections [sic] from our ballot.”
These people are dangerous and have no place on our soil.
The poor Liberals ... hope their hissy fits aren’t fatal ... if they are ... too bad ... the world would be a better place without them
Serious misnomer. There is nothing progressive about these people.
Such a typical response from liberals. When they don’t get their way they change laws, ignore rulings and just generally try to change organizations. They are children, mentally and I see no way to live side by side with them in peace if this country is to endure as it was founded.
Here we go again , Dissolve the Supreme Court and you have to Dissolve yourselves ,LOL
“I am disappointed in the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision stripping states of the authority to enforce Section 3 of the 14th Amendment for federal candidates.”
Actually, I think the point is that the states never had that authority.
I do wish people would stop calling them “Progressives”. There is nothing progressive about them. They are regressive feudalists who believe the god that it them gave them a divine right to rule.
Increasingly that is the split occurring in this country.
I find NO common ground with Liberals and Democrats. NONE. They hate the country I want AND I hate the country they want.
They all need to die. Badly.
Despite the opinion of anyone else, and this opinion today, President Trump was never convicted of insurrection. He was never charged, approved for trial by a grand jury, tried by a jury of his peers, and given full due process.
It made as much sense to bar him for murder. He hadn’t been convicted of that either.
Article III, Section I: “The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court ...”
Nullify that and all bets are off bitches. I almost hope you try.
Under is fine.....................

Dissolved? What a bunch of dummies. The proper Soviet term is “liquidated”.
