This is where VDH gets it wrong. Rush is gone, but he knew in 2016 that for Trump, praising those that he defeats and calling for unity was not going to happen. I believe Trump sincerely wanted that but the left was not going to allow that.
The left loves it when you look weak and want unity. Unity to them is you do as they say.

As said before, with all the "efforts" of Republicans, the final election tally might well be:
Trump - 81 million votes
Robinette - 180 million votes & over 500 electorates
--and conservatives will writhe in the dark, gnashing their teeth.

He makes he point that Trump should be magnanimous toward Haley and stop calling her “birdbrain”. He should give her a call and let bygones be bygones and try to unite the party.
My only response to that is - of course he’ll do that!
People sell Trump short, but he is actually very magnanimous when he needs to be.
Case in point: In his rallies, he says he no longer calls Hillary “crooked Hillary”. The word “crooked” is now reserved for Crooked Joe Biden. He now calls Clinton “Beautiful Hillary”. He finishes by saying “she’s a beautiful woman”.
If that’s not being magnanimous, I don’t know what is - because we all know Hillary is far from beautiful,.
In fact, Trump may be the only person in the world calling her beautiful.
The dems have gone “all in” with the steal of 2020 and the planned destruction of the USA, which started in earnest with Barack Hussein Obama. The have put themselves in a very dangerous position with regard to the lawlessness they have embraced at every level to achieve their twisted goals. If, by some miracle, Trump wins you will immediately see the media, the Deep State, the Republican Establishment, et al begin the chant of forgiveness, unity, let bygones be bygones, etc. in an effort to save their collective asses.
My own opinion is when the true reality of what these corruption loving people face if Trump wins finally dawns on them, they will turn to someone like Joe Manchin. He’s what passes for a “moderate” in Washington these days, and he appears to be somewhat removed from the treasonous bunch who have brought America to the brink of destruction. One can only imagine what promises for their filthy lucre would be offered to whomever can save them from a date with
la guillotine.
Remember when 2016 was the "flight 93 election"? But in truth it was already too late.
It's good to support Trump, but don't count on him making it to the election alive.

Trump is a lover, not a fighter who thought he could hire and work with a bunch of DC quislings. Like he's an evangelist and they would all come together over Trump.

Him being a peacemaker instead of a fighter is part of his problem.
I think of him as he sees himself, a deal maker, a negotiator. That he is, and perhaps the very best.
The problem crops up when his adversaries won’t deal, won’t negotiate, won’t budge. To my mind, Trump then seems unable to respond effectively.

No. I’ve explained at length why this won’t happen, and after around Aug. 1, it can’t happen. Big Mike, Gruesom, and Harris all POLL MUCH WORSE ALREADY than Rutabaga.
Harris is the new pres if they in any way remove Rutabaga or he resigns.
If anyone thinks they will somehow force out the FIRST BLACK WOMAN president, you’re eating shrooms. She will pick a veep. That veep must be approved by MIKE JOHNSON and the House. He will not approve anyone who even remotely has a shot at being elected-—so scratch Grusome and Big Mike. Doesn’t matter if they try to replace Rutabaga at the convention-—the campaign has already spent HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS ON HIM, not to mention set up massive state and local campaign infrastructure, ALL of which would have to be re-done and repeated for any other candidate.
After around Aug 1 depending on the state, PRINTED ballots go out with Rutabaga’s name up top. You can’t just vote for him and think it will count for Big Mike or Gruesome. It won’t. If anything happens after Aug. 1, early voters will have one ballot with Rutabaga to vote for, ED voters will have a different ballot with someone else. The two get counted separatedly. The DemoKKKrat vote would be split in half, meaning . . .
Trump would win all 50 states.
So no, they aint’ gonna, and after Aug 1, can’t, replace Rutabaga.

Good article, and good news for Trump. A weak demented unpopular corrupt Biden is beatable. A replacement will be as bad.
So now that Trump is on the ballot in all 50 states, he needs to avoid a conviction and he can win.

Great article. Good summation of the current situation in presidential politics. A little off when it comes to Haley. The best thing to do regarding Haley is to ignore her. She will go away on her own. She already doesn’t matter.
GA case is falling apart. Jack Smith went too far in his charges. The NY case is so corrupt, but need to get through state before it can get overturned.
GOP is their own worse enemy. They do not know how to campaign themselves. They do not refute false allegations from the Left. They do not challenge the propaganda. Name calling isn’t going to do it. They just don’t fight back.
Young people probably don’t know the benefit of voting Republican or what they stand for. They need to understand that there’s a concerted effort to overthrow this country.
