On what basis do you say “The UK has had a strong anti-semitic element for a very long time”>

if you mean some of Labour’s idiots, then well every country has idiots. Unless you mean at the government level, do you?

I’m really thinking of Oswald Mosley and the British Union of Fascists in the 1930s. At one point, Mosley was seen as a possible Prime Minister. Many people liked him, and many upper class people supported him. He eventually came to nothing, but there was support for anti-semitism at the time.
