Nolte: Bud Light Boycott Cost Tranheuser-Busch $1.4 Billion
Breitbart ^ | 02/29/2024 | John Nolte

Posted on 02/29/2024 11:19:15 AM PST by ChicagoConservative27

Tranheuser-Busch claimed it earned record revenues in 2023 but admitted its “full growth potential was constrained” in the U.S. due to a boycott after Bud Light signed transvestite Dylan Mulvaney as a sponsor.

Yeah, “constrained” by $1.4 BILLION.

In North America, organic revenue, seen as the best measure of operating performance, plunged $1.4 billion last year as beer sales by volume tumbled in the region, primarily due to a decline in Bud Light sales in the United States. Beer makes up the lion’s share of Anheuser-Busch InBev’s revenue.

Bud Light sales tanked after the company’s partnership with Mulvaney last April sparked an anti-trans backlash and calls for a boycott. A tepid response to the controversy from the company also angered LGBTQ+ advocates.

“In the U.S., performance remains very underwhelming with revenue down at double-digit rates as the group lost market share,” Aarin Chiekrie, an equity analyst, told CNNLOL.

After two decades of being America’s top beer brand, Bud Light lost the crown to Modelo Especial, a Mexican lager. Gee, I guess all those immigrant-hating, MAGA-bigoted beer drinkers forgot to be bigoted.

Fortunately, the concept of “fiduciary responsibility” has no meaning.

People simply don’t understand how absolutely important it is to be politically-correct and follow the deep-state herd. It may be wrong and unprofitable, but its most important to stay as part of the statist herd.

Its really priority #1 for CEOs of companies like AB-InBev.

Transheuser-Busch is pretty good! Maybe, Transheuser-noBusch would apply in many cases.

It cost them far more than that and will continue forward with diminished revenue. They lost far more business than that and the money they’ve had to spend to try to recover their image should be added onto that total.

And now we have Transheuser Busch running TV ads with jocks.

They are hoping everyone forgets what they did.

I won’t.

We support LEGAL immigration which is NOT THE SAME AS ACCEPTING ANYONE WHO WANTS TO CROSS OUR BORDERS ILLEGALLY.

And NO that has nothing whatsoever to do with boycotting the sexual weirdo/pervert community.

BudLight needs to apologize for pushing sexual kink over beer. It's that simple. Until then their sexual weirdo Ad Agency (just guessing but from what we've seen so far we can assume there aren't many hetros working there) stops pushing their stupid idea of 'macho' they can toss that client away. No one's going back to Bud light even if the ad agencies sexual weirdos resurrect John Wayne holding a can of the stuff.

Yep, all they had to do was issue a simple apology but they were so intimidated by and sympathetic to the woke mob it was the one thing they refused to do. This is still true.

Do they really care??

No, they don't. On March 31, 2023, the day before the Mulvaney posts were made, AB Inbev stock was $66.99. About 8, maybe 10 months ago, it took a hit down to around $51. Today, it is at $60.23. No, they don't care, because essentially the effects of the boycott on actual AB Inbev have been largely negligible and over hyped. The distributors and local sellers took a bigger hit than AB Inbev.

Once again, it's not a "boycott". It is a fully successful rebrand. The fact is, not one wants to drink tranny fluid. That is why Bud Light was destroyed in the marketplace.

Stock prices don't tell the entire story. They are still bleeding revenue because of this. The leftist institutional investors that have been propping them up will eventually lose interest.

It has been 11 months. If they were hurting, they would have likely just discontinued or rebranded at this point. We would be hearing rumors of it happening soon, at the very least.

I am a concessions supervisor for the Atlanta AAA baseball team. There was a huge drop off in sales of BL last year and we stopped ordering it by the end of the season. This year, we have removed all BL liquid tranny fluid from the stadium.

You can keep pushing that POV, which you have been amazingly consistant with, but it doesn't make it reality. Sales of AB Tranny Fluid has tanked across the country. The bar I frequent has seen a 90% decrease in sales of that crap. They can throw money at anyone they want to, to say good things about it, but as I said it has been successfully rebranded. Everyone not being bribed with piles of money knows that.

Personally, I think it is hilarious. It is just as hilarious the way you consistently carry their water. (how appropriate) The rest of us just laugh, because we have eyes and can see for ourselves. Keep it up. It's funny!
