In his opening statement to the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday, Hunter Biden told investigators that he did not involve his father in his business deals.
Yet, his assertion directly conflicts with publicly available evidence, Hunter Biden’s own statements, and documentation and witness testimony secured by the committee.
"I am here today to provide the Committees with the one uncontestable fact that should end the false premise of this inquiry: I did not involve my father in my business. Not while I was a practicing lawyer, not in my investments or transactions domestic or international, not as a board member, and not as an artist. Never," he said in his opening statement obtained by Punchbowl News.
Contrary to that claim, here are some of the documented instances where Hunter Biden involved his father, Joe Biden, in his business deals with foreign partners:
Cafe Milano Meetings In 2014, Hunter Biden hosted a dinner meeting at Cafe Milano in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Biden’s emails show that he invited two oligarchs with whom he was in business: widow of the former Moscow mayor Yelena Baturina and Kazakhstani businessman Kenes Rakishev.
Devon Archer confirmed in his testimony with the Oversight Committee both Baturina and Rakishev were in attendance. Another Kazakhstani oligarch, the former Prime Minister Karim Massimov also reportedly attended. He also told investigators that then-Vice President Biden showed up at the meeting and interacted with the assembled partners.
In 2015, Hunter Biden hosted a similar gathering at the same upscale restaurant. He invited Burisma executive Vadim Pozharskyi, the point man between the Ukrainian gas company and the Biden associates. Emails and Archer’s testimony confirm Pozharksyi was present.

Which was, of course, the purpose of the indictment.
A Biden says it, it must be true. Those boys are unimpeachable.
When questioned about threats he sent, shaking down a Chinese moneyman, Hunter admitted that he was “high or drunk” when he sent the “sitting here with my father” email threat.....but he said he sent it to the “wrong recipient” ........
But wait a sec......within 10 days of Hunter’s threatening message, the “wrong recipient” sent the Biden accounts $5.1 million from the Chinese firm CEFC. (This was confirmed by a 2020 report by Republican-led Senate committees.)
Is there no end to the Biden lies to cover-up their
treasonous activities, selling out America left and right?
Hunter’s politically flexible “addiction defense” is mentioned when it has a political bonus for the many scrapes Hunter created for himself.
It only heightens concerns over Hunter’s corrupt global influence-peddling. When foreign figures were giving him millions of dollars, Hunter admits that he was a crack addict and alcoholic, writing in his book that “Drinking a quart of vodka a day by yourself in a room is absolutely, completely debilitating” as was “smoking crack around the clock.”
Keep in mind, Hunter was no hapless gutter-junkie snatching purses to feed his addiction.
<>he is the son of the most powerful man on the globe
<>he was flying around the world mooching off taxpayers on Air Force Two,
<>he had a tax-funded Secret Service detail
<>he was vacuuming up millions selling dad’s influence
<>he was allegedly distributing the money to various Biden family members
<>he was organizing a labyrinth of shell companies and LLC accounts money laundries
<>he was selling out America left and right.
There’s not an ounce of truth to anything hunter said yesterday.....not even a gram for that matter.
Also, I heard hunter tried to snort James Comers line of questioning.
Not even one line?
He could stand up, raise a middle finger and walk out. He knows nothing can touch him. Republicans don’t have the stones.
who you going to believe, a crackhead who tried to use his daddy to get his fixes, or his partners, whom he screwed royally?
Was Hunter put under oath.
Does it matter?
He did not involve his father. His father involved himself.
