The Republican-led Tennessee House passed a bill that would ban pride flags from being displayed in school classrooms.
The House passed the bill in a 70-24 vote on Monday that sent the legislation to the Senate, where a final vote could happen as early as this week.
Known as House Bill 1605, it states schools 'shall not display any flag other than the United States flag and the official Tennessee state flag on or in a public school.'

Official flags of the military would be ok IMHO.
hurray for TN!
There is going to be much gnashing of teeth and rending of garments in Midtown Memphis...it’s not fair that they only got to turn that whole neighborhood gay. They want everyone else in the state to be gay also!
Perhaps we should take the historical area of Transylvania and make that the country of choice or the radical homos, trannies, etc. THis new area could be dubbed, Gaymania, and they'd already have a national flag.
That allows only the following two flags:
and
As soon as they figure out where this LGBTQ country is located, they are welcome to move there and fly their flag as much as they want.
The US flag and the TN flag only...
and the problem is ???
and the blue line cop flag
If sane people were in charge ...
The JROTC could fly the US Army or US Air Force flag, as appropriate.
A foreign language classroom could display the flag of the country most closely associated with that language.
A geography or history classroom could have a “flags of the world” display or a “historical flags” display.
But sane people are NOT in charge. Lunatics are in charge. And leftists lunatics will abuse liberty to promote perversion, racial bigotry, and tyranny.

Leftists: The reason we can’t have nice things.
Good!
Stop grooming our children!
Every once in a while some really good news slips through.
At Auburn University, there is a large LGBTQP flag and other LGBTQP displays in Funchess Hall which is bio sciences. All over campus, it seems like half the faculty office doors are adorned with rainbow safe space stickers and there are many BLM stickers too. After walking through the history department’s hallway in Thatch Hall, I feel like I need a shower just from the icky factor of walking by commie displays. And Auburn is supposed to have one of the most conservative student bodies in the country.
Works for me. Why should a pride flag be displayed in any school?
Tennessee is looking better and better.
Another “And so it begins” moment?
“I don’t mind that, country music was always awful. :P”
There’s no such as bad music.
Just bad musicians.
I bet my bottom dollar this is not about pride flags only but about any flag that is not a U.S. State or Military flag.
The only “political” flags that should be allowed in schools, anywhere, are the flag of the United States and the flag of the state the school resides in. That’s it. NO flags or pendants for any political cause should be permitted anywere in schools. Why? It amounts to political activism of one view that all citizens do not have to share, and public schols are supposed to exist for everyon, not just for people who accept certain views.
This should be the law of the land for all 50 states.
Democrats love filth, sexualizing children, and degeneracy. Everything that disgusting flag represents.
