Kyrylo Budanov, chief of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense has said that Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny died of a blood clot.
“I may disappoint you, but as far as we know, he indeed died as a result of a blood clot. And this has been more or less confirmed,” Budanov told journalists on the sidelines at the “Ukraine. Year of 2024” forum on Sunday.

How, exactly, does one “more or less” confirm something?

He’s probably fearful of Nuland’s reaction to the truth. Perhaps that was his fallback qualifier when all his DC handlers come down on him like a ton of bricks.

That opening point perfectly captures my complete cynicism about everything in our government these days.
I’ve gone from total neocon stooge to someone whose cynicism most likely even outpaces yours since I had my MAGA inspired epiphany in 2016. When the blinders come off it’s a deflating and infuriating experience. That is why I am such a teetotaler nowadays regarding the people who are still as blind and hoodwinked as I was eight years ago.
Once the current regime in Ukraine (and in the U.S.) collapses and peace is negotiated, the truth about this globohomo misadventure will come out. I am not looking forward to seeing just how despicable the U.S. government’s actions in Ukraine the last ten years have been. I have a feeling the righteous wrath of the Ukrainian people will forever turn them against the U.S.
