Judge Sets March 1 Hearing for Final Arguments on Fani Willis Disqualification

Fulton County Superior Judge Scott McAfee has set a March 1 hearing date for final arguments on whether District Attorney Fani Willis should be disqualified from the election interference case against former President Donald Trump.

The hearing, the result of which could see Ms. Willis replaced with a different prosecutor, is set for 1 p.m., and is expected to be live-streamed, as with most Fulton County proceedings.

Ms. Willis testified before Judge McAfee on Feb. 15–16, where she faced heated questioning over her relationship with top prosecutor Nathan Wade, amid allegations that Ms. Willis benefited financially from the relationship.

Defense attorneys have alleged that Ms. Willis began her romantic relationship with Mr. Wade in 2019, before she hired him for the high-profile Trump prosecution so they could both benefit financially from taxpayer funds. The attorneys have argued that hiring what would have been her boyfriend at the time amounted to a conflict of interest and so she should be disqualified from the case.

March 1 in Fulton County, Georgia should be an interesting day. I wonder what other information the attorneys for Trump have that confirm an earlier time-line for the affair of Wade and Willis. I think they may be giving Willis enough room to hang herself with perjury charges before providing even more proof to the Court.

I’m betting she will be “vindicated”. There’s no way the deep state isn’t going to threaten, bribe or cajole the judge on this one.

What's sad about my post is that i sound like I'm talking about the Mafia and not the US government.

The judge should recuse himself and then resign for not disclosing his campaign donations to Willis.

A gang of perjurers try to take down the President of the United States to cover up their election crimes? Better have your ducks in a row.

The entire case should be dismissed and the entire gang - prosecutors, judicial overseers and their political co-conspirators - need to be federally prosecuted.

Charlie Kirk-——”Attorney for President Trump, Steve Sadow, specifically asked Nathan Wade under oath how many times he’d visited Fani Willis’s residence in 2021:”

SADOW: “So if phone records were to reflect that you were making phone calls from the same location as [Willis’] condo before November 1, 2021 and it was on multiple occasions, the phone records would be wrong?”

WADE: “If the phone records reflected that, yessir.”

They set the perjury trap and Wade walked right into it.

But what is the meaning of “is”?

They asked if the two were in a relationship.

They were just having booty calls. It’s a black thang.

That’s not a relationship.

Pretty clear they both lied under oath. They lied to the Judge in the affidavit as well. White people would be arrested and lose licenses. But they got the Black Card to play.

I want to see the text messages to Washington D. C. These two are as dumb as rocks. Clearly the entire thing was run out of Xiden’s DOJ.

Monday will be another hearing behind closed doors to determine What is covered under the lawyer client privilege

The state turned on Wade’s Friend and ex lawyer late Friday and In doing so may have breached it

you should have seen the look on Terrence Bradley’s face when they stabbed him in the back

Trump attorneys may be holding two more cards up their sleeve.

1/If Fani was conflicted, then loverboy was conflicted too. He needs to be removed also.

2/ Since both of them presented the case to the grand jury, that poisoned fruit needs to be thrown out too. Case dismissed.

Real criminals and murderers have been let off with lesser technicalities.

You are spot on with your analysis. The defense obviously had these records before the testimony. Watching the questioning now, you see the very specific perjury traps being laid. I think there’s more evidence to come. After the DA’s office and these two idiots respond with their next batch of lies, the defense will drop the next evidentiary bombshell. Absolutely, must watch TV.

And if Fani is conflicted then so is the entire Fulton DA’s office. There are very few other Georgia DA’s office that would take the Trump cases. Maybe the DAs in the state’s liberal cities such as Savannah, Athens-Clarke, Valdosta, or Columbus would want to do so.

However, those cities’ county commissioners may not approve such an action. (Athens-Clarke county has its own problems at the moment since their sanctuary city policies contributed to the death of the UGA student this week and would not want the additional spotlight)

The donation was $150...I see no conflict with a donation of that size.

Fat Fani lied under oath, obstructed justice and should be disbarred.

Then should should be sued for defamation by everyone involved for proclaiming her innocence for 50 million, since that is the new norm for what to do based on Trumps cases.

I don't think so. She's got some other stuff working against her.

Paying $400 for a wine tasting is no big deal. We're talking thousands and thousands of dollars...Did they have separate rooms...lol.

Also I believe Wade was paid $100 more per hour than the other more experienced attorneys...and his total payment was waaaaaaay beyond what the others received.

Will Fanny be back in front of the black church this Sunday to cry about how she is being set upon by racists?
