A large part of Ukraine is under occupation by a foreign military. It would be impossible to organize a legitimate election in those areas while the occupation is continuing.

Imagine if Trump had canceled election 2020 due to covid.
Despite covid restrictions the protests would have been massive(praised by MSM/with zero jailed by "justus")
Besides, it would have ruined all the deep state plans, using covid for their soft coup.

I think we all knew this was coming. Probably a good idea as Russian forces are on the move, Ukraine is retreating, and Kiev is now a realistic target for the Russians. I expect they will move the capital to another city in West Ukraine soon.
