My house was built in 2005. Some of the people who worked on it may have been black. I think most of them were Hispanic.

indeed ... i do believe that the English, Italians, Irish, Chinese, Swedes, Norwegians, Germans and Bohemians had a WHOLE lot more to do with building this country than Africans ...
The northern states were far wealthier than the south during the slavery era. It's not a coincidence that the financial center of the US has been New York, not Atlanta or some other southern city. Other northern cities like Boston have always had more of the largest financial institutions than the southern ones.
Further, even attributing the south's wealth in the present day to slavery is utterly moronic. What things that the slaves built are still there? I guess a few historical buildings have been preserved.
And that’s why sub Saharan Africa is a thriving peaceful clean place.
Is that why they now have a total RIGHT TO DESTROY IT?
WITH BURNING, LOOTING, THIFT, HATING OTHERS ALL THE TIME.
THIS MEANS THAT THE WHITE POPULATION NEVER CONTRIBUTED TO ANYTHING, WE WERE SO LAZY.

There was slavery in the northern states though the economy there was not as dependent on it as the south was.
Nailed it.
Her argument is that the blacks were brought here forcefully.
Then trained in the trades by whites to become master craftsman and builders.
No blacks worked in cotton.
My family were dirt poor farmers and had deaths on both sides.
Not to diminish the value of their labor in North America, but go back through history and see what they built before contact with the white man.
Black people were AMONG the people who built this country. Let’s recognize the contributions of ALL of our people. The attempt to deny the contribution of any group of us should be recognized as racist, ignorant and hateful.
