If there’d been something pressing, I’d have gone out yesterday but since there wasn’t, I was more than happy to stay warm. LOL

My sister’s doing very well now. She’s able to walk pretty well but keeps her walker handy. She needs one more surgery on her leg but not immediately.
Considering she was “Humpty Dumpty” and she died, briefly, after the crash, she’s doing amazingly well.

I’ve been going over there the past several weekends to help her clean out her hoarder hellhole and we’ve made much progress. A LOT of junk has gone to the dumpster and I’ve hauled a lot of things to a thrift store. The car trunk is packed right now and that will be delivered to the store after my “wellness check” with the doctor tomorrow afternoon.

Sleep well and late.
Looking at the clock, I need to get the cat stuff done and get to bed. Gotta get up a little earlier than usual for the doctor appointment. Catch ya tomorrow.

In a galaxy far-far away and MANY years ago, I remember collecting baseball cards. It never occured to me that some might be valuable some day.

We weren’t allowed to keep the gum...

We sure did. I just finished taking a nap and we have another full day ahead with a monthly visit to the vet for Gizmo later this morning.

Four Hall-of-Famers on one page, along with the rest of the team and even the Bat Boy. LOL.

I collected them too, and I actually had every single card one year (but there were a lot less teams back then).   If my memory is working right this morning, I think each pack of cards cost just a nickel back then!   (I always chewed my bubble gum though.)

I don't know what happened to my collection, but I believe it would have been worth a small fortune today, if I still had it.  Oh well...

Also, if I'm not mistaken, I believe Ted Williams hit a home run in his final at-bat.   He was an amazing man.
