Why Aren’t Arab Leaders Calling on Hamas to End the War?
New York Post ^

This week, Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas called on Hamas to reach a deal to free the Israeli hostages and spare Gaza additional death and destruction.

The move was brazen — because while Hamas is distressingly popular among Palestinians, Pres. Abbas (who’s plagued by corruption charges) is not.

Either way, it’s a call that the rest of the Middle East’s supposedly moderate Sunni Arab leaders could clearly learn from.

How does Hamas stop the war other than by killing themselves? According to Netanyahu, this cannot end until they are all dead.

Yep. There is usually a difference between what is said publicly, and what is said privately. 👍😆

Yep. And it's not much of a secret. Particularly those countries who have had to forcibly remove "palestinians" in the past, like Egypt and Jordan.

If you're PA, you just might not want Gazans reduced to ashes, because they had to share with PA their funds, their military hardware, their Islamonazis ... Far more inclined to take this as PA establishing "Well, we told Hamas to give up..." to preserve their loss of funding and US access ... Plus they know they are next on IDF's hit list.

Here's the thing -- the IDF is only the second nation in this century to attempt to exterminate a generation of slimes. We failed because 'nation-building', as compared to Israel which is succeeding to some degree at 'nation-destroying', and yeah, eliminating a generation of slimes.

So the question is -- and this is why the neomarxists have flipped their shit -- why stop there? Why stop at Gaza? Israel has made the possible real. They have determined that one particular branch of the tree is rotten, why not uproot the stump?

Think of all the knock-on benefits of destroying Islam in the ME! Move on to the EU, move on to Africa, move on to Indonesia, eliminate the hindrance to the greater world that Western civilization is ordained by God to rule over.

How does Hamas stop the war other than by killing themselves? So, asking Hamas to stop killing Israelis, is the same as killing them?

Do you also believe that by trying to stop illegal immigration, the U.S. is asking them to kill themselves?

Look buddy, you’re giving me grief over what Netanyahu said! I’m sure you’ve heard him make that and similar statements over and over. Why are you so anti Netanyahu? Don’t you support his proclaimed method to protect Israel from another 10/7? Geez, the anti Semites I’m forced to deal with here.

Please show me a citation. I don't agree with Netanyahu about everything, but I've never heard him call for genocide.

On the other hand, Palestinians have been saying, "From the river to the sea...," for long time, which you know is a call for genocide against Jews. So why would you call out one as bad, but not the other.

They know they are better off with Hamas destroyed and Iranian influence reduced by paying in blood. It is best for them that Israel and the US are taking care of these problems for them.

For now, I think Middle Eastern nations are putting their other disputes and the Palestinian problem on hold until after Hamas is wiped out and Iran is worn down some more.

Arab governments like Egypt and Jordan are handling the fighting in Gaza the only way they can. Securing their borders, aggressively staying out of it, and watching Israel take care of business.

All the talk of diplomacy and peace in the US and Europe is out of inertia of pursuing Middle East Peace for decades. The Middle East has shown eliminating Hamas comes first. Peace, whatever that is, can come later.

You never heard or read his statements that ALL Hamas must be eliminated before the Gaza operation ends? I know better. I see you here on FR all the time. Pick any statement you want from Netanyahu in the 30 days following 10/7, you’ll hear that sentiment expressed.

Hamas is a terrorist organization that's a front for Iran. It's not all or most Palestinians.

Were you angry when when Trump said he would eliminate ISIS?

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today, visited the Ashdod city control center, which was activated at the start of the war. The Prime Minister met with Ashdod Mayor Yechiel Lasri and with the various security heads in the city. Prime Minister Netanyahu was briefed by the Mayor and the city security head on rocket hits in Ashdod, on the public security situation and on the state of business activity in the city.

Prime Minister Netanyahu in the control center:

“We need national resilience and patience. We also need international leeway, and I am working overtime on this. We need the fighting spirit of the commanders and soldiers, which is amazing.

We need patience because we need to complete the work. I do not want ‘half’ or ‘more or less’ – I want to eliminate Hamas. What will be afterward, I do not know, but first of all, Hamas must be eliminated. Less than this will not suffice.”
