Denver's hospitals are at risk of collapsing due to out-of-control immigration, with one healthcare system providing $17 million in free care in just three months.
It comes as the Colorado city's Mayor Mike Johnston warns he's had to cut DMV and Parks & Rec funding 'in the face of the migrant crisis'.
Struggling UCHealth was given $17 million from other hospitals, including $10 million from University Colorado Hospital, to help care for 5,800 undocumented patients between November and January, according to the Denver Post.
Medics believe these patients are mostly - if not entirely - migrants, because the data covers people who don't have a Social Security number or health insurance and were seeking healthcare in the US for the first time.
And this figure is only the tip of the iceberg. It excludes migrants who had sought care from the system before or those who qualified for emergency Medicaid, which covers undocumented patients in labor or with some life-threatening conditions.

As the Left was pushing Obamacare in the media day and night they promised along with savings to each person of maybe $1500 or $4000 due to Obamacare efficiency, but the end would come for common practice of people without health plans using the emergency room as their first stop after not seeing a doctor all year and getting sicker. And hospitals paying the bill for the uninsured.
Infuriating People Magazine story I remember clearly chronicled one of the many New York gang members as he ran up bills in the hundred thousand dollar range after being shot. He proudly showed his scarred midsection and IVs in his arms and smiled for People Magazine. We all paid every cent of his medical bills for him.

Dick Lam and Owens were OK but things headed downhill once Hickenlooper got in. I worked with him on a non-profit annual Denver event. He helped but what a slithering snake.

Of course the hospital is claiming $17 million of care when the reality is that medicare, medicaid, and insurance companies would have only paid the hospital about 10% of what the hospital billed for the services provided.
Denver should collapse.
well, something new has just happened in my little burg that’s 45 minutes north of Denver: security guards have suddenly appeared at the front of local grocery and big box stores ... never seen this since i moved here in 1975 ... obviously a result of leakage from the massive influx of illegal aliens into “sanctuary city” Denver ...
He can always follow Texas lead who shipped them there and ship them to sanctuary Chicago. It would be interesting to see sanctuary jurisdictions foisting their sanctuary sludge along with their false virtue on each other
