resident Biden's administration and liberal supporters in Washington are bracing for a possible Donald Trump victory in November by installing "roadblocks" to limit the latter's ability to fire thousands of government workers, according to a new report.
The Associated Press reported that a cabal of left-leaning experts, legal advisers and others are confident Biden will be re-elected but are urging him to prepare for the worst: another Trump presidency beginning in 2025.
"My impression is the Biden administration is taking very seriously that potential threat and is trying to do things now," Michael Linden, former executive associate director of the White House Office of Management and Budget under Biden, told the AP. Although he added there was no "magic bullet" to stop Trump if he took office again. "Nobody should be under any illusion that there’s anything that this president can do in advance to prevent the next president from doing things that are very damaging, potentially catastrophically."
The AP reported the "Office of Personnel Management, the federal government’s chief human resources agency, will finalize a rule by April against reclassifying tens of thousands of workers so they can be more easily fired, according to OPM spokesperson Viet Tran." A Biden campaign spokesperson said Trump was "already telegraphing plays straight out of the authoritarian playbook — gutting the civil service of people he deems disloyal and plotting revenge on his political enemies."
A hypothetical Trump administration would take months or even years to unwind it, the AP wrote. The wire service added that other options for Biden to "thwart" a potential succession could include "promoting expanded collective bargaining agreements with federal personnel to beginning the complicated bureaucratic task of designating more government posts as policy-dedicated, thus making workers harder to fire."

Because nothing says “democracy” more than thwarting the wishes of the voters.
Democracy = the commie revolution
Trumps success is going to need and depend on a GOP led Congress. Minus that it will be a repeat of Trump with the Pelosi House.
He can relocate agencies to the middle of nowhere.
Something damaging like closing the border. A 2nd term Trump is more dangerous to them than they can imagine.
Eliminate work from home, mandate saying the pledge of allegance and singing the national anthem at the start of each workday, ban the wearing of masks in all federal buildings, and require all ID badges to specify the birth sex of each employee.
The halls of government will be empty within days.
Exactly, this is openly admitting you are intentionally creating problems to prevent the voters elected leader from doing their will.
Literally they should be up on charges of sedition and insurrection, this is what insurrection looks like.
The only roadblocks this thing installs is a pile of poop on the middle of the road.

Comments funny.
I wish. Only congress can allocate funding to move an agencies headquarters.
It’s looking more and more like the one who’ll end his days in prison may just be Herr Biden.
Things have a way of backfiring on the idiotic dems.
The government employees will file a lawsuit. The judge agrees to hear it but not until January 20, 2029.
Who said anything about money? There are federal buildings everywhere including post offices.
Two Presidents (other than Washington) have transformed the nation on a scale that we need Trump to do.
Those two are Lincoln 1891-1865 and FDR 1932-1941. Both had enormous, veto-proof majorities in both houses of Congress.
With both the Democrats and the GOP working in coalition to stop Trump from doing anything useful, as long as he is bound by the Constitution, there is not a whole lot he can accomplish.
I posted, right here, on Inauguration Day 2017 that Trump had six months to disavow the Republican Party, find and fund 435 patriots to run for House seats, and 33 to run for the Senate in 2018 and 2020.
This did not happen. Instead, he fired Mike Flynn, sent Kris Kobach back to Kansas, and appointed Robert Mueller.
I am voting for him again (obviously), but if you think he can act without Congress or in opposition to Congress, I don’t know what to say.
could include
"promoting expanded collective bargaining agreements with federal personnel
to beginning the complicated bureaucratic task of designating more government posts as policy-dedicated,
thus making workers harder to fire."
Pray for majority house and let them deprive agencies of money.
“the federal government’s chief human resources agency, will finalize a rule by April against reclassifying tens of thousands of workers so they can be more easily fired, according to OPM spokesperson Viet Tran”
Trump, as head of executive branch, cancels fascist rule in one second. Nothing fascist bureaucrats can do about it.
Best suggestion I have heard. Start with Energy Dept. In Houston, Texas.
