I had heard about the FDA's rule change in 2023 allowing sexually active gay and bisexual men to be able to give blood. The quote I posted at #20 is from your link, in the Men Who Have Sex With Men section.

My concern is that allowing homosexual and bisexual men to give blood (who accounted for 70% of the 34,800 estimated new HIV infections in the U.S. in 2019) seems to conflict with the rules set out in the HIV-Aids section of the Red Cross blood donation rules.
