The state’s Medicaid program is billions of dollars in the red.
Gov. Hochul announced a plan last month to cut $1.2 billion in Medicaid funding, which she’ll finalize Thursday.
Yet she’s also expanding Medicaid for children whose parents make too much money.
She’s making a middle-class entitlement New York doesn’t need and can’t afford.

Of course this is “affordable”. That was guaranteed when BeijingBiden was installed into the WHouse. His promise was to fund (via printing $$) the repair of all damage caused by BLM/Antifa and the shutdown. He did that. His successor will do the same when installed in 2025.

There was a news article this morning that claimed the government wants to use Medicaid funds to pay some peoples rent. What???? Paying illegals rent or what?
I thinks she’s too stupid to understand Cloward and Piven. Most likely it’s just a ploy to buy votes and remain in power. I’m sure she likes the trappings of being governor.

Absolutely. Hochul has not met a kickback scheme she isn't up for whether it's a new Bills stadium or rapid covid testing.
Expect to see more Medicaid Expanded Recovery laws coming to NY. Medicaid, is one of those programs that sounds good, until you actually use it and others need to clean up the mess afterwards. And yes, I expect to see NY trying to go retroactively after those families who have 6 figure salaries, even if no one dies.
