Harvard Admissions really flubbed when they admitted that bozo!
Yet the hostages who were just liberated from Hamas captivity reported that they were kept hungry. Clearly the hostages suffered more from hunger for over 100 days than these students would suffer in their lifetimes.
There was a time when I would undertake a liquids-only fast from midnight on Mardi Gras/Shrove Tuesday until after an evening Ash Wednesday liturgy...twenty one hours, more or less.
Now as Orthodox Christian clergy it is pretty much 12 hours every Saturday night until after Sunday Divine Liturgy--sometimes more depending on how many "extras" follow the Liturgy.
More than 30 pro-Palestinian Harvard students participated in a 12-hour hunger strike Friday in solidarity with 17 students at Brown University who refused to eat for eight days to pressure the Brown Corporation to divest from Israel.
And after the 12 hours, they went and got their CBC blood draw for their annual physicals.

If you finish supper at 7:00 PM, then eat breakfast at 7:00 AM then you have had a 12 hour hunger strike.
I know they’re Harvard students, but somebody tell them that it’s not worth starving yourself if you only got into Brown.
