The German government has announced a package of legal measures aimed at fighting right-wing extremism.
It comes after weeks of demonstrations against the far-right swept through German towns and cities.
Throughout January, hundreds of thousands of people from all walks of German life took to the streets to protest against far-right extremism.
Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said the protests had been "an encouragement and a mandate" to act politically...
Ms. Faeser said the 13-point plan would right-wing extremism, which she described as the biggest threat facing German society. Proposals include new laws that make it easier to freeze bank accounts and cut funding models for extremists. Even donors would be targeted, Ms. Faeser said.
To undermine networks, officials will also be able to ban right-wing extremist events more easily and far-right activists will be stopped from entering or leaving Germany whenever possible.
Gun laws will be tightened, and it will be easier to dismiss state employees found guilty of extremism...

Oh gee who get to define what right wing extremism is over there anyway? Whatever doesn’t match the ruling party line? Let the voters vote!
Yeah... Good catch... I think.
lol
I did nazi either.
They’ll build camps to hold the right wingers.
The Brainless Joe regime will send observers to see how it’s done.
Ya gotta love those NATO democracies. The Germans don’t do much unless told to do so by an unnamed country.
Germany is a bunche of weinnies.
vee shall silence them
If one looks at the political spectrum as no government control to total government control, then anarchists and hippies fighting the man would fall on the left, leftists and conservatives believing in limited government would fall somewhere to their right.
As the leftists seize more control of government, they are the true far right but label conservatives the fascists... I blame the educational system and indoctrination.
‘right-wing extremism’
That sounds familiar. Which country are we talking about again?
European politicians...and press...fling the words “far right” and “extremism” around like chimps fling their poo.
“far right extremists”...never defined, just used as a derogatory term for “people we don’t like” while insinuating they’re “fascists” while we engage in real fascism to shut them up.
If you ask those “far right extremists” if they consider themselves “far right extremists” and they say “no” then why keep calling them that? ...redundant question.
In other news, ordinary people complain about the takeover of their country by immigrants that don’t believe in the same values.
“Throughout January, hundreds of thousands of people from all walks of German life took to the streets to protest against far-right extremism.
Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said the protests had been “an encouragement and a mandate” to act politically...”
So when the Right marches, it’s a dangerous threat to democracy... when the Left marches, it’s a mandate for the government. Got it...

Yeah...I was wondering about this. How is “extremism” functionally defined? And if it isn’t defined, how could it hold up in a German court?
“We want to use all instruments of rule of law to protect our democracy,” Ms Faeser said as she presented the plan to journalists on Tuesday.
“We want to break up right-wing extremist networks, cut their funding and take away their weapons.”
Yeah Hitler would approve of this. And the great thing? There’s no definition of “right wing” or “extremism “ noted anywhere.
Ol’e Adolph must be smiling.
Little America.
Canada, Germany, USA….everywhere the enemy uses the same playbook, whether Trudeau, the Biden administration or that disgusting fat POS sow Faeser (pardon my French), who would make Hillary Clinton look like Sarah Palin in comparison.
/spit
Of course, look at Jan. 6th and its aftermath, with some of the protesters still in prison, unless I am mistaken.
The Deep State does not brook any criticism. On neither side of the Atlantic.
Please pray for us, as we pray for you Americans, that our peoples may both be free.
Yes. They copy each other, just like they did during the Pandemic.
Hopefully, when one falls, they all fall in the same way. Like the USSR and the Warsaw Pact.
