The German government has announced a package of legal measures aimed at fighting right-wing extremism.
It comes after weeks of demonstrations against the far-right swept through German towns and cities.
Throughout January, hundreds of thousands of people from all walks of German life took to the streets to protest against far-right extremism.
Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said the protests had been "an encouragement and a mandate" to act politically...
Ms. Faeser said the 13-point plan would right-wing extremism, which she described as the biggest threat facing German society. Proposals include new laws that make it easier to freeze bank accounts and cut funding models for extremists. Even donors would be targeted, Ms. Faeser said.
To undermine networks, officials will also be able to ban right-wing extremist events more easily and far-right activists will be stopped from entering or leaving Germany whenever possible.
Gun laws will be tightened, and it will be easier to dismiss state employees found guilty of extremism...

The words “extremists” or “extremism” are used seemingly every other sentence in this article, but nowhere is the alleged extremism explained in specifics. It very rarely is. Because if it were, it wouldn’t seem so extreme.

Hitler wished that Germany was Islamic, he felt it was a better religion for soldiers. He considered Christianity to be “flabby”.
I have some history books written during and right after WWII.
They state that the conservatives (right wing) were the last holdouts against the NAZIs, which makes sense as the NAZIs were left wing socialists/fascists.
History books tend to be written by history professors, who in the USA became increasingly left wing.
One, or some, I haven't figured out exactly when this started, mid 1950s though, started calling the NAZIs "right wing", and ever since the "right" has been tarred by the left with this lie.
Perhaps some other Freepers into history can look into this for more examples and to try to figure out who started it?
Knowing Leftists as I do, they no doubt were carrying torches and burning books as they went, like the Leftists who were part of the Nazi Party!
