Actually, it was McCarthy who got the Border Act of 2023 passed last year. It's HR@ and has been at the Senate since May of 2023 or shortly thereafter. Cruz introduced it to the Senate...and Mitch also supported it.

HR2 is on line in full...it calls for continuing the walls..and everything else you can think of.
