White Tennessee Democrat Congressman Steve Cohen was incensed that Super Bowl fans did not stand in respect for what he called the “Negro National Anthem” during Sunday night’s big game.
As it has for the last several championship games, the NFL opened the Super Bowl with the song “Life Every Voice and Sing,” which many agitators have proclaimed to be “the black national anthem.”
Of course, it isn’t a “national anthem” at all, but regardless, Congressman Cohen was not happy that the video of fans in the stands showed that not many were standing as R&B singer Andra Day performed the popular song.
He quickly jumped to his X account to scold the fans.
“Very very few stood at Super Bowl for ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing’. The Negro National Anthem. Not a pretty picture of Super Bowl crowd,” he wrote.

One of the reasons being that “anthem”, along with a myriad of other woke issues that offend my morals and sensibilities, I watched not a nanosecond of the grossly mis-named “Super Bowl”. Played sports all my life, including football in hgh school. Pro sports, and now college sports, have corrupted by the pursuit of money uber all. Take your tainted product and shove it.

There is one country, one national anthem and the negro song is not it. This is disgusting low life demons rats trying to further divide this great national. Once that so called anthem started the apertures should have booed through the entire thing.

Travis Kelce is part Welsh, part Czech and part Croat. They should have played the national anthems of Wales, Czechia and Croatia. And checked the national origins of all the other players and made sure they played all of their ancestral countries’ national anthems. Of course they would have had to start that an hour before the game started.
